We’ve been part of Gracie Barra Frisco for a while now, and I can honestly say it’s had a huge positive impact on my daughter. She’s become so much calmer, more focused, disciplined, and confident. I also noticed she now protects her boundaries in a respectful and confident way. I’m sure jiu-jitsu played a big role in this transformation.

The professors and coaches are amazing — very friendly, patient, and truly care about the kids. You can see how much the children enjoy coming to class. The academy also organizes different events that bring everyone together, which really helps build a family-like and trustworthy environment. Both Professor Peter and Professor Jose are excellent instructors who exhibit professionalism at every class and have been excellent mentors for both me and my son.

Jiu Jitsu is not easy. It is hard. It is demanding on the body. It is a discipline that takes many years to even begin becoming proficient. With all of that said, I wouldn't trade it for anything. The amount of discipline and self control that it teaches young children all the way to adults is priceless.
