No stars, marked 1 star because I couldn't publish this without a star. Extremely disappointed. Went in on a Sunday, a little after noon. They opened at 11 and had no pizza slices or salads ready. There was no ice available for drinks. The spigots on the drink machine we're not attached so we had to wait until they worked on that before we could get any soda. We ordered 2 pizza slices with salads, and after we paid, and poured our iceless sodas, we were then told that it would be 20-25 minutes before anything food would be ready. At some point during our 25 minute wait, a man, that may have been a manager, went over to the ice machine, tried it and then opened up the door when it produced no ice. That was all. Our sodas were getting warm by then. Not a "we are sorry" or any offer of a future coupon or discount. Service was poor as the woman at the counter did not know how to take an order. We showed our disappointment and they said they were sorry and hoped we would return. We like to support small businesses, but since no attempt at getting us ice, or any compensation such as discounts or coupons was made, and since the pizza was just your average food court pepperoni pizza - we will not return. Unless things change dramatically, I can't imagine this business will survive in this market. There are about 5 pizza options within 2 miles that offer better service and taste. I read other reviews that were positive. I'm not sure they were real. It's not like this restaurant has just opened. It is new, but the there is really no excuse for the...
Read moreChanging the number stars, based on recent visit, —————————————————— I recently had the pleasure of ordering takeout from a restaurant, and I must say, the biryani, pulav, and pizza they serve are incredibly tasty and consistent. While the prices may be a bit higher compared to other places, I can confidently say that the quality ingredients and mouthwatering flavors make it worth every penny.
One aspect that stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the entire staff. They were friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure a delightful order pick-up experience. To my surprise, they even offered me a complimentary tea without me having to ask for it. Such gestures truly make a difference and reflect their commitment to customer satisfaction.
It's rare to find a restaurant that consistently delivers delicious food and treats their customers with such kindness. Leaving this review serves as my way of encouraging this establishment to continue their culinary excellence. Finding good quality biryani can be quite a challenge in nearby restaurants, but this place has truly mastered the art of preparing delectable dishes.
I sincerely hope that they continue to maintain their high standards, consistently preparing tasty food and treating customers with the utmost care. They have certainly won my loyalty, and I eagerly look forward to my next visit to enjoy their scrumptious...
Read moreUsed to be an italian pizza and sub place.
New ownership is a very likeable and smart restaurant owner. I chatted with him as I waited for my order which he personally helped me with.
The paneer tikka pizza is very tasty, and NOT spicy at all. My 6 year old (picky eater) liked it. But she did not devour it, so perhaps it needs some improvement too.
Their paneer butter masala is amazing and almost done to perfection — very North Indian taste. Very mild and can vary in spice level.
The chutneys & sauces are OK — they need work.
Why not throw in some Naan? Paratha? Or? You have the paneer butter masala and beer on tap - would be a great combo!
Since the ownership is from south India, you’ll likely get more of a flavor of the South of India like you do many Indian restaurants in Frisco/Plano area. But the owner is quite open minded. He can do it more North Indian if he wants, experimenting with vegan and Jain (no onion or no garlic), which I hope he does. But I also hope he keeps some of the original Italian America favs which won this establishment its original patrons!
And decor needs to change to match the cuisine - still showing New York City!
