Do not book an appointment or give card information. The company considers themselves to be a donation center. The rain would have messed up the service, but there was no service. I did not receive anything good. There are more hurdles if you are naïve enough and committed to thinking it will work out in the long run. Do not give women your emergency contacts, this is supposed to be relaxing. Do not valet as you will be prompted to do work only you are paying to have it stamped. You do not want to check in with the person at the front or even the manager. I had to pay and did not even get to sit down You are paying for the possibility of hail damage to your car. There is a threat to charge you for missing the appointment even if there is a tornado warning. There is no where to wait, I didn't get to the cafe. The part about other amenities or places to visit afterwards is not true and cannot be moved to the beginning. If you get lost or are too early or too late then you still have to pay. You will be charged regardless or daylight savings time and likely if your stylist is sick or unable to make it. The corrupt company will make that your fault and responsibility to pay for. I want my money and time back. It should not be this difficult to get an appointment and plan details which can and will likely be changed which is going to throw the schedule off for current, future and...
Read moreThis was our first time at this spa while we were on a staycation for our anniversary. The spa itself was very nice and the people were super friendly. My two complaints are that my locker didn’t work right and had to have the spa attendant open it for me twice before they offered to move me to a different locker that worked fine. My biggest complaint happened when I decided to take a shower after my massage. ALL of their lights are on timers that come on with motion sensors. I was in the shower for about 5 minutes when every light in the locker room went out. All of them. Apparently I was the only person in the locker room at that time. At first I thought it was a power outage but realized that no emergency lighting came on so I determined it was a timer issue. There was absolutely no one in the locker room and it was pitch black and I do mean pitch black. I had soap in my hair and tried to yell for anyone to help with the lights. I couldn’t see well enough to find my towel so I decided to wait it out and finish showering in the dark. Eventually after what was about 20 minutes, another guest came in which trigger the lights to come back on. I dried off and got out and when I mentioned it to an attendant she just shrugged it off. I understand energy saving but if you are going to have motion sensor lights, you might consider that 5 minutes of no movement could mean someone is...
Read moreThe experience was fine, though 2.5 hours for a manicure and pedicure was pretty excessive for me. The pedicure chairs were comfortable enough but the manicure stations were awkward and uncomfortable to sit at for over an hour.
The main problem I had was with the polish - I got regular polish on my toes and when I put socks and shoes on 3 hours later the polish on my toes smudged. By the next day it was chipped off on one toe already. For my manicure, several of my nails are completely different shapes, I asked for almond and a few are but some are flat on top and one is inexplicably pointy. The worst part was that I got gel on my nails and my gel chipped 2 days later!? I have never ever had gel chip like this, after a decade of getting gel manicures. The gel was applied completely incorrectly, including the fact that she didn’t do the tips of my nails, so it shrunk back allowing for chipping. I would definitely not recommend any of the nail services here, not worth it especially for the price.
Finally about the spa themselves, they double charged me for my service, after booking and rebooking my appointment several times in their side. No reason or changes that I could tell but I got an email each time they booked and cancelled so obviously they didn’t do something...
