I came to golf as a complete beginner—no experience, no background, and no idea what to expect. I joined the five-week group course Your Golf Journey Begins, led by Crystal Wang, and from the very first lesson, I was deeply impressed. Crystal has a rare ability to manage a group setting while giving individualized attention to each student. She creates a light and supportive atmosphere where everyone—no matter their starting point—feels safe to be awkward, ask questions, and learn openly. Her coaching style is structured yet flexible. She always comes prepared with a strong lesson plan but adjusts on the fly based on what each person needs that day. What makes Crystal stand out is her sharp eye for the smallest mechanical details. She sees what minor movement or adjustment can change your entire shot—and communicates it clearly, encouragingly, and respectfully. She doesn’t overwhelm you with technical jargon—she translates it into something you can actually feel and apply. The PGA Coaching Center itself is also truly impressive. The use of technology, professional-level equipment, and thoughtful program design creates an elite learning environment that supports beginners and advanced players alike. From high-quality practice facilities to modern video feedback tools and a well-organized class structure, the entire experience is elevated. Crystal uses these resources effectively, making the most of everything the center offers to give each student a meaningful and personalized journey. After just five lessons and one private session on the Fields Ranch West (PGA’s 18-hole course), I was able to confidently participate in a golf tournament hosted by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce this week. Despite being paired with golfers who had 18+ years of experience, I held my own on the course. I understood the etiquette, knew how to approach each shot, and felt completely comfortable navigating the game. I never felt intimidated—because Crystal didn’t just teach me golf mechanics; she taught me how to carry myself with confidence on any course. I’m now planning to continue with Your Golf Journey Continues in June, and I look forward to every lesson. Crystal is not only an incredible coach—she’s also a former competitive golfer with an elite background. She played in the 2015 NCAA National Championship, maintained a Top 65 world amateur ranking, and finished fifth at the 2013 Kia Classic LPGA Qualifying. Her love for golf is deeply rooted, and you can feel it in every moment she teaches. She coaches with the heart of a champion and the humility of someone who genuinely wants to help others succeed. Crystal goes above and beyond to ensure her students feel supported and seen—without ever losing her professionalism or structure. She works with all types of personalities and learning styles, and that’s one of her true gifts. If you’re looking to start your golf journey the right way—with confidence, clarity, and expert guidance—Crystal Wang is a true diamond at the PGA of America Coaching Center in Frisco.

A Perfect Anniversary Gift: Couples Golf Lesson with Paige Holland at PGA Frisco For our anniversary, I decided to switch things up and book something a bit more exciting than the usual couples massage — we opted for a couples golf lesson at the stunning PGA Frisco greens. And wow, it was an unforgettable experience! Neither my wife nor I are seasoned golfers, but under the expert guidance of Paige Holland, we felt like pros in no time. From the moment we met Paige, it was clear she’s an exceptional instructor. Her approach is the perfect blend of patience, expertise, and enthusiasm, making the lesson not only informative but incredibly fun. Paige has this rare gift of breaking down the mechanics of golf in a way that’s approachable for beginners yet challenging enough to push you to improve. She took the time to understand our skill levels (or lack thereof!) and tailored the lesson to suit both of us. By the end of our session, we were hitting solid shots and feeling so much more confident on the course. If you're new to golf or simply looking to brush up on your game, Paige is exactly the kind of instructor you want in your corner. She truly embodies what the PGA needs more of — someone who inspires newcomers and helps them fall in love with the game. Whether you're looking for a lesson with a friend, partner, parent, or child, Paige is the perfect fit. Her ability to engage both people equally ensures you get the most out of your session. She had us both laughing and learning, all while helping us build a solid foundation for better golf swings. We had such a blast that we’re already checking our schedules to book another session with Paige! Trust me, if you're on the fence about taking lessons, stop hesitating and book Paige — you won’t regret it. It’s an experience we’ll be talking about for years to come.

What a world-class training experience! I signed up the night before for a 1 hour group Ladies Clinic. Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by Mr. Tim Cusick, Head Coach of the PGA of America Coaching Center! He escorted me to my practice bay and although there’s every kind of golf training equipment imaginable it still maintains a fun, “kid in a candy store” like vibe where the learning possibilities seem endless and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. My Event coach was Mr. Cole Jones. Within a few swings he quickly was able to address areas for improvement. Cole showed me before and after photos and video of how drastically improved I’d become in less than 20 minutes! He customized a drill program I could use at my home course to solidify what he taught me. Every shot is recorded and he even sends you the videos to take home. The simulator provides so many statistics and even shows pictures of the club placement at impact. Even though I’d never used a simulator or had a golf lesson, Cole was able to communicate in terms I could understand. I always felt relaxed, curious, and comfortable learning all these new concepts that will absolutely inspire me to improve and continue to enjoy playing golf.

I recently had the pleasure of undergoing a golf club fitting session with Blaine Seitz, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations on every level. Here’s a detailed account of my visit:

Booking and Initial Impressions: Making an appointment was straightforward and hassle-free through their user-friendly website. Upon arrival, the staff greeted me warmly and ensured I felt comfortable and at ease. The fitting room was organized with all the OEM's you could imagine.

The Fitting Process: Blaine was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to understand my game and what I was looking to achieve with new clubs. We began with a thorough analysis of my current clubs and swing. State-of-the-art technology and high-tech equipment, such as launch monitors and motion capture systems, were used to analyze every aspect of my swing and ball flight. He is a PGA of America member and took pride in working to improve my game.

Customization and Testing: Throughout the session, different club heads and shafts were tested to find the optimal combination for my swing. I appreciated the opportunity to try a vast array of options from multiple top brands. Blaine provided clear and detailed explanations at each step, ensuring I understood how each change affected my performance. I was even given the opportunity to test my top club selections outside to see what the ball flight looked like.

Results and Recommendations: After a comprehensive fitting session, I was presented with a detailed report of the findings. Blaine recommended a set of clubs tailored specifically to enhance my strengths and address my weaknesses. The improvements in distance, accuracy, and consistency were evident even within the session.

Service and Follow-Up: The customer service at was exceptional. The staff genuinely cares about your game and the fitting didn’t feel rushed at any point. They also offered advice on how to maintain my new clubs and provided information on follow-up services.

Overall Experience: The entire experience was professional, personalized, and incredibly valuable. I left feeling more confident in my equipment and excited to get out on the course. I would highly recommend seeing Blaine for anyone looking to improve their game through a personalized club fitting.

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned golfer, the team at the coaching center will ensure you leave with the right clubs for your game. The improvement in my play has been noticeable already, and I am sure it will only get better as I get more accustomed to my...
