I received as a gift, a 80 min massage for Mother’s Day and my birthday.I was super excited to receive services, as many of the reviews were very positive.
However, upon entrance staff were friendly but I had to wait approximately 5-7 min for a robe to change into prior to receiving services. In fact, the staff shared with me, “ We are short staffed and so busy being that it’s Mother’s Day weekend.”
I was shown where the water was located and some other refreshment. There was no offering of champagne or wine, as I was told later this was with my package as well. Next, I was shown the relaxation area that appeared very nice. My therapist called me within 15 min and we entered the room.
As a Director of Nursing, I explained in detail after I asked what was the goal of the massage and where my major areas were that needed to be worked, including the pressure. Unfortunately, from the moment the therapist started for at least 15 min straight; I could everything in the room next to us.
It appeared and sounded that we were actually in the same room. I asked the therapist about it and she stated, “ If we had not been assigned to that specific room, as they were very busy that she would move me. “She explained we were attached to the couples room and that’s why we could hear everything so loudly.
I attempted to relax, as the noise stopped for a few minutes then we could hear every movement and every word that was stated. I could even hear the other therapist spray down the area and wipe it down after the individual left. Next, my therapist asked me turn over but she had not even touched several areas that I discussed in detail where my problem areas. These areas were literally so tight and knotted and she had not placed any pressure on them. I was shocked and I encouraged her to touch my specific areas and to keep me on my stomach versus me rolling over on my back.
I effectively communicated with the pressure, as I discussed medium to deep pressure depending on the area. My package included hot rocks, however even the rocks were only utilized on a couple of areas.
I was shocked and very disappointed and displeased with the services I received. Honestly, this has been the worst massage that I had every received. It was obvious at check-out that I was not happy at all. However, in a professional manner I proceeded to check out. It was my birthday and I was just ready to leave and move on to something else.
I was asked how my services were by the person who purchased my package and it was escalated immediately after I left the spa. The manager never apologized and notified that she would view camera and get back with us.
A decision was finally made early this week, stating they would provide 25 % off ,if I wanted to return. The services were unacceptable and more should be done to satisfy customers when staff do not render proper services during busy times...

I chose to deescalate the situation because I not want any trouble for my mother or the workers; I have worked in the service industry and only wanted to be respectful. From the moment I walked in to receive my pedicure, Maria never introduced herself to me. While my mother received her pedicure, I sat patiently waiting for mine. 30 minutes pass and I ask if my person is coming to do my nails, and to my surprise it was Maria who was in the same room, busy doing someone else’s nails but never bothered to say anything to me. By the time she finished and came to start taking off my previous polish, Maria had a very ugly attitude the whole time. She was making faces and sighs. She used the machine to take my gel polish off and asked me to let her know if it hurt. I said, yes it hurts. Multiple times. Maria then says “well I can’t do anything about it.” And that it when my mother became upset with Maria. 1) why ask if it hurts if you can’t fix it 2) you CAN fix it, you can turn your setting down. The situation escalated easily because Maria already had an attitude from the beginning, and is now knowingly causing me, her customer, pain. Maria cursed at my mother and refused to finish my service. She took polish off of one foot and left the other foot with half way taken off old polish. Maria is very unprofessional and should not have a job doing nails as she does not care about causing pain to others. Please save your money and do not go to this place. They are liars. They are bored, young and older woman who have nothing else to do with their lives and support each other in their lies. SO MANY other great beautiful places to go to. STAY AWAY!!! They also did not refund me for my pedicure that i never received. Yeah...
Read moreI value customer service and attention to detail, especially during a relaxing spa experience. A truly exceptional spa visit should prioritize client communication and personalized care. It's important for staff to actively listen to client preferences and tailor the experience accordingly. Every guest deserves to feel heard and understood during their time at the spa. However, I had issues with staff understanding me with a simple request to purchase two gift cards. I had attitude issues with management when asking what my options were, to split the one gift card I bought. FYI, their gift cards expire after 5 years. I could not make the extra trip to get the gift card situation right. Then, when it was time for the appointment, I had issues with the staff telling me to take care of my friend, 'because I know what to do already'....I thought was a weird thing to tell me. Then, she read the total of the services when I had expressed and it was implied that this was a gift to my friend. What was the point of using the gift card if I wanted the total to be said in front of my friend.
They are unorganized, they are missing social cues, and they do not listen to customers. They do not care about fixing their own issues.
