I have been there twice now, each time was amazing! The staff is amazing, they stay very aware and you are never waiting long if at all for them to check on you or bring items out. They have amazing in house sake as well as others that are seasonal specials. I highly recommend a cold served in house Lychee or checking out specials. --Their rolls are by far the best sushi rolls I have EVER had! Without having been to Japan or traveling abroad I can not speak on that, but from any place in America I have been from California to mid west, Texas and even Florida. The sushi at Sakura is by far my favorite I have ever had. The rolls are perfect always beautifully displayed and they melt in your mouth. Unbelievable. --To top of your meal if you have room left they have a dessert menu--I HIGHLY recommend the Korean Pancakes! They are like magick! They have this perfect crisp flaky fried outside then this delicious melting middle of magick filling paired with delicious vanilla ice cream and a chocolate drizzle and a piece of in house waffle cone sheet added for looks and deliciousness! Plus the overall vibe is amazing, a modern retro chic kind of look, very much makes me think of Bikini Bottom from SpongeBob!

FYI -the rolls I had the first time were a Fire Sakura Special, as well as the Sakura Special then the second visit I had the Dragon, Albacore Chef Special and the Sakura Special once again!

All in all, if you love sushi, enjoy sake, like hibachi or looking for a good experience and something easy going but nice please consider Sakura...

Update: Went back and had the bento box, absolutely the worse I ever had. California roll that came with it had brown avocado, hard rice not seasoned, can’t see nor taste any cucumbers, and all smooshed together into a dark green, brown center. Two gyoza must have been re-fried, skin is very hard rather than crispy, soup was very watery and tasteless and little bits of tofu clearly are from dehydrated tofu, tasted rubbery. I had the salmon that was not fresh, overcooked and even the thick sauce on top can’t mask the tasteless rubber, normal Bento comes with a bowl of steaming warm rice, their rice was hard and dry, same as the rice they used for rolls. However, the salad dressing was very good, wonder what brand it is.

We also had the lunch sushi combination, this time, the sashimi Salmon had lots of veins that made it chewy, Kenny’s Burger Joint next door uses a better sashimi grade Tuna for their tuna sandwich which one can ask for medium rare. No wonder there is only one other table when we went during busy lunch hours. I take back my 5 stars.

Original review: Had chef selected of sashimi lunch special. Qualities of each pieces were good and fresh. Reasonably priced. Server is very attentive and had a great sense of humor. Decor is comfortable. Will be back to try their...

Not all restaurants need or bother with a reservation system. Sakura does. Two weeks before dinner time we called to reserve a specific booth, and be sure to have it ready for our Mother’s Day evening. We called the day before to reconfirm and make sure that everything would be as reserved. It was confirmed. It was with great displeasure that, when we arrived to the restaurant, we were guided to a cold and dark table in the back of the restaurant. Furthermore, we were told that certain booths required a minimum of four people to be able to reserve them. When entering the restaurant, we saw a couple of them with only three people. When we asked how this was possible, we were told that they were very important friends. Obviously, a privately owned restaurant can do what they want, but discrimination will never be taken well. The staff lies on the continuous basis, are very unprofessional, and the restaurant should never be able to operate with such management. This restaurant is a scam. The serving staff is otherwise friendly, and the food is passable. This one star rating addresses specifically the lies and games this restaurant plays. I would not recommend Sakura. This area has several better options,...

Fantastic sushi place, the food was excellent, presentation was exceptional and service was fantastic. Went there for a family dinner and had a delightful experience. Shrimp Tempura was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Gyoza (beef filling) were great and so were the crab wontons. Snapper with jalapeños appetizer was like what you would get at Nobu. Same quality fish with larger portions. Sunset roll, Butterfly KISS and Dragonfly rolls were exceptional - perfectly balanced and nice large portions. Salmon sashimi was the best.....and I have tried loads of salmon sashimi all over the world and this is definitely on the top of the list. It’s a fairly new place, but very conveniently located off Legacy drive and 121. The decor and ambiance was excellent. They have a full bar and also TV’s for watching. Will definitely return for many more lunches and dinners.

First timer and definitely not the last! We drove by this place many times and finally got the chance to stop in and try it out. Surprisingly there was not a wait on a Saturday evening. They have a wide range of options, from sushi pieces to hibachi meals. We chose a few sushi pieces and 2 rolls (Candy and Geisha). The quality of the yellowtail sushi was good! Did not taste fishy at all! Both specialty rolls were good, the Geisha had shrimp tempura inside which could’ve been a little crispier. It was a little soggy, which didn’t give the roll a crunchy texture that it should’ve. The candy roll was good with good quality tuna and white fish on top. Henry, our waiter was very nice and attentive! Everyone there seems to be very nice as well! The ambiance was lovely, good music in the background yet not too loud. Overall, good quality for the price point. Definitely will be back!
