I loved pet paradise at first for a number of reasons. However, the last two visits I was called and told that my dog had an āaltercationā with another dog two days in a row. The first time I was told my dog pinned a smaller dog down but wasnāt aggressive. (I thought they grouped dogs according to size. Why was a smaller dog with my dog?) anyway, I let it go and thought Iād try again the next day because the week before, my dog did two full days and had a blast! He even got into the pool which truly shocked me, but made me so happy and proud. He was afraid of the pool before. He had soooo much fun and made lots of friends. Anyway the following day, I dropped my dog off at 11:20 and they were calling me by 12 to tell me that my dog got into another altercation with a bigger dog this time. So at this point I am concerned because heād never had any issues before with any of the dogs. Once I got there I had questions. I was told that a ball was being played with and my dog and another dog got into it because of the ball. (Iām super confused to hear this because I was told that toys werenāt allowed for that very reason) They also didnāt let me view the camera to see for myself what happened. I am now being told that my dog can no longer do group play because of the āsafety of all dogs and staff including my dogā Why would I ever pay $60 to have my dog come to daycare and sit in a kennel all day and only play with ONE human sometimes? I can keep him home if thatās the case. I was also about to be charged for a full day even though my dog was there for two hours. They charged me for a half day instead and didnāt even want to honor the discount that you get for day camp. It was literally the last day of the discount. Needless to say, I will not bring my dog back. Heās ok to come in to be groomed, heās ok to board, heās ok to day camp ALONE but not ok to play with other dogs, even though your staff didnāt avoid these āaltercationsā Pet paradise oakleaf, please do better. Also a suggestion, maybe hire adults who have experience with dogs and not teenagers who are constantly on their phones which you can clearly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could leave zero stars, I would. We picked up our three dogs after a two-night stay at this facility, and what we experienced was unacceptable.
When we arrived home, our Labrador urinated five times in ten minutes and had three bowel movements. Our Golden Retriever also urinated three times within fifteen minutes. Our German Shepherd was covered in urine and feces. Based on the condition of our dogs and the timing of our pickup (1:30 p.m.), it appears they were not let out to relieve themselves at any point this morning ā and possibly not since the previous night. Every time we checked the facility cameras, none of the dogs were outside.
These are well-trained, housebroken dogs who do not have accidents. I have never seen them urinate this frequently in such a short time, and my Shepherd is not incontinent. He would not willingly lie in urine or feces. To return him to us in that condition was extremely distressing and unsanitary.
Even if an accident had occurred, the lack of basic care ā such as cleaning him up or notifying us ā is inexcusable. When we asked staff about their stay, we were simply told that āthey did fine,ā which clearly was not the case.
We attempted to contact a manager to review camera footage and discuss our concerns, but we were only connected to a reservations line. We were told weād need to call corporate the next day and could not speak with anyone at the location directly.
We are deeply disappointed and heartbroken by how our pets were treated and will not...

After speaking we felt much better and appreciate your kind words and reassurance. This is the experience we associate with this establishment. Thank you again!
Unfortunately, I'm writing this bad review due to my last two experiences with Pet Paradise. This last visit was the most disappointing, if I must say and I'm surprised by the team's response to our dislike with regards to how this situation was handled. I've never had a problem with them up until this point and based on these last two experiences we are not sure if we want to continue our relationship. We provided plastic food containers for each day of her stay with Pet Paradise. When we picked her up, the containers were not returned. When we inquired we were told they couldn't find them. After my husband continued to inquire, we were told by the manager they gave our container's away to another family. Not sure how that happens if my dog items should be with her! This also makes me question if they actually fed my dog during her stay. Not to mention the blame was shifted to the family that took my containers by the staff. This is unacceptable behavior and in a season of Covid your response was to call the family and have them bring them back?? Yeah, we don't want those! Extremely...
