This restaurant has a pretty racist waiter. We are hispanic and our sgt. Who happens to be an honorable black man treated us for lunch, we opted for lunch specials and he ordered what he wanted which was not part of the special. The couple that came in after us were tended properly before us. (Its supposed to be first come first serve)
The couple behind us happen to be caucasian and were treated kindly..I made eye contact & kindly let him know we were ready to order, he lifted his finger and said he was occupied, rudely. After that, it took the waiter about 10min just to take down our order meanwhile the couple that came after us were already done with their appetizers. When he finally came to take our order, he was upset because our sgt. was in the restroom. His body language let us know how he was feeling. As a former waitress, I am very understanding of his role in a restaurant and would not like to give him a hard time. Be watchful of the prices because he charged us an extra $1 for every special ordered. ($2) and an extra $1 for my sgt’s order as well. I understand $3 is nothing & would probably have given that to him and more with tip. I just do not like sneaky behavior! Charge what the menu says to charge! The whole experience was weird & just felt off.
When it was time for us to finish, the fastest service was when we asked for the check. Our total bill was $81.49 for 3 lunch specials and a non-special meal. Restaurants have to feed their families too, but the waiter showed us with his actions how he felt about the only hispanic/black people in the room. We were served last out of the group despite our entrance being before other people.. Despite this rude service, we tipped him well because now we understood why he was waiting tables. Hopefully the kid learns not to treat people solely by their skin color because the honorable veteran paid the whole tab & tipped the orange hair’d waiter well.

Read moreOrder $100 worth of food for take out. Got home and was very disappointed. Container was filled with 4 pieces of shrimp and what looked like a quarter piece of chicken breast cut up. My mother in law order the lobster and shrimp, same thing a lot of rice. Seemed like half a lobster tail cut in chunks and 4 pieces of shrimp. No one in my family was satisfied with their meal. Especially for $100. I had to cook steak and shrimp just so everyone would be full off something besides rice. I called the restaurant, asked to speak with a manager and the lady was rude from the start. I called very nicely let her know I couldn’t come back because we had already driven out of the way to pick up the food and I was already having to prepare additional dinner. She offered me a $30 giftcard to give to my friend. I advised that I did not want the giftcard as I would not be returning and giving a giftcard to my friend was not going to help me. I asked for a partial refund $50. She said she could not refund. She proceeded to argue with me and talk over me, she kept saying I was asking for a whole refund, when from the start I only asked for half considering it was $100 and I’m just not that type of person. I explain to her again the situation and she pretty much told me take it or leave it when it came to the giftcard. I asked if I could have the the amount of the giftcard as a refund back to my card and was told we can’t do that. Which I don’t understand why. At this point she is still talking over me and then proceeds to call me greedy. Saying that they have been in business for 10 years and never has a customer like me. Which from the reviews that I just read, states otherwise. This was my first experience here and I was hoping for a great one and to enjoy good hibachi on a Friday night. Unfortunately I got a rude “manager” , called greedy, still had to cook dinner, and a bunch of damn rice. Never will I eat here again. I wouldn’t...
Read moreShe had Attitude soon as we came in , the soups was no where near full or even at an appropriate amount! She continued to carry an attitude thru out ordering! Unsure why? Daughter (kids menu) got chicken that was undercooked & wanted to swap for shrimp said no due to “food cost” understandable if i had a crazy request but it was a small portion maybe 6 pieces of small chunk chicken! I could have even payed the difference she would not switch anything! Then my mom got onions in her food who made it very clear she’s allergic to them to make sure they aren’t in there! Still was… so i adressed if food cost was the issue the chef would have payed more attention to that as well . Cause now it’s eat the food with onions or throw it out as she won’t re make anything … or make ANY accommodations! The portions the 3 adults got was the same portions as the 2 children meals. Prices are not equivalent to the portions! The food is SO BLAND! The lady server basically did everything but attack me when I respectfully addressed the situation! She refused to speak on an adult level . I had both kids with me and 9 months pregnant! My 5 year old was speaking on how “rude” she was . That’s how visible her disgusting demeanor was!! I have worked in the restaurant industry for years!!!! & have dealt with every type of customer and staff! I am not one of “those”.. she simply had a bad attitude and no respect or Skills on communicating! Would NEVER come back or recommend this place! 100$ very much wasted as well!!! & she was loudlyyyyy going off in the front & back of house! No type of restaurant or even basic people skills!! There is no way I’m the first or last to deal with her . Don’t waste your time or money at this establishment especially if your genuinely looking for a...
