Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Florida

Shout out to the worst manager i have ever worked for. oh what could be so bad? maybe that she will take away your working days for petty reasons, or maybe its the amount of garbage she talks about her employees behind their backs? or maybe two sided hypocrisy that she exhibits from day to day. if shes not yelling at someone for something they didn't even do that was completely none of their fault, she can be found pressing her mistakes on her employees making it all their fault instead of growing up and and owning her mistakes. this is a grown woman we are talking about. not a hormonal teenager running the store. oh and this is not just my experience, but can be vouched for by multiple employees, current and previous, who’s names i will not be naming for confidentiality reasons. Why hasn’t any of this been brought to corporate or HR? they will not investigate the situation in the slightest. now who am i to be saying this? a now previous employee who had been working for about 9 months before deciding that i could no longer just deal with “HER”. something needs to be done for the greater good of this company and for the greater good of...

Tried this place out because I wanted an Açaí bowl and Rush Bowls was closed. Sadly to say even though it looked the same it was very different. Had a very syrupy taste and the base had a lot of frozen chunks. Also, the banana was not even chopped up like in the picture. Just half a banana thrown right in. Since it was my first order I surprisingly was rewarded a free smoothie. So two days later, which is today, I redeemed my reward and got a Blueberry bliss. Seriously tasted like it was made from 20 ice cubes and maybe two blue berries. Almost like they only ran water over a handful of blue berries and then used that water to blend with ice. Basically tasted like a Lacroix slushee! Highly doubt it even had any banana or strawberries. Thank god it was free cause I would have been mad if I paid $7-8 for an H2O Icee with a blue berry garnish. We’re Florida transplants, coming from Chicago where we had excellent food everywhere we looked, and 5-10m delivery for basically anything. Middleburg has none of that, and the majority of the food in the area is sub-par. Tropical Smoothie Cafe is fantastic though. If I could convince my wife to let me have the Triple Berry Oat smoothie all day long, I’d be in heaven.

The staff is friendly, the place is clean, prices are decent for the amount of food you get, and the food is delicious. This is our go-to place when we want food or treats and are out and about.
