After eating here for about 7 months regularly I feel I am able to share my honest experience and hope that this review is viewed and perhaps improved upon.
Pros: --The food is always extremely hot and fresh. I do not mind to wait because the food is so fresh tasting. --The employees are always friendly to me, and if I am at that location they will always fix their mistakes promptly. --I like the variety in menu and i find the cost of my meal is worth the quality. I am never left hungry.
Cons: --I wish i was exaggerating when I say every single order through Drive thru or pick up is always incorrect, or at best missing items. I figured it was because they were so busy but even on slow days or time frames I always have an incorrect order. I stopped calling to say anything tho because it just kept happening. I have learned to just accept whatever they feel like putting in my bag. At least its delicious. --Today was really frustrating. I ordered a chicken sandwich and paid an additional 1.10$ to add avocado to my sandwich. (I dont mind because I figured it'd be good.) I also said no tomato. My avocado was sooooooo oxidized and tasted so old, it was the worst taste. I had so much tomato on my sandwich the bread was soaked through with sauce and juice. I had to scrape off as much avocado (With huge blobs of old, grey/brown avocado) and scrape off the tomato to eat my chicken. I understand not wanting to waste food but please, you can't feed people the oxidized old avocado. Its so awful. And it costs 1.10$ !!!! I also ordered spicy ketchup and of course didn't receive any.
In conclusion if you like gambling I would strongly recommend this place. Again the food is great, employees kind, atmosphere wonderful. If you dine in I find you have a better experience.
But Im so tired of ordering and getting anything except what I ordered. After today I just dont know if I will be back. Im sorry to write the negative review but I hope there can be some...
Read moreI placed an order in the drive threw and noticed the price was more than what was posted on the menu. I informed the associate employee and she said ok and didn't know what to do. I asked for the manager and he stated that the computer system probably updated pricing or something prior to the restaurant opening. I informed him that this was his employers problem and not mine and that you are prohibited by law to advertise one price and charge me a different one. This is called predatory pricing. I have a photo of the price on the menu, my original receipt and another 18 photos of about 18 or so other vehicles tags that were allowed to place orders and I would have to suggest that they were over charged as well. I was not offered the difference back, a refund, only to have a nice day. I wasn't too overly concerned however; I told myself to watch the pricing should I choose to return to this franchise should I decide to give Whataburger a second opportunity. The service wasn't dismal but I was still over charged because of an issue with this restaurant, so they get a single star for being unsatisfactory.
What bothered me the most was I waited in the parking lot for approximately 20-30 additional minuets and no one came out to the drive threw to change the pricing on the menu. When I called the franchises office number on the receipt, I informed them of the subject matter and was told I would receive a call back regarding this. These individuals even wanted my address, but they never mailed me a survey or anything. I'd be willing to bet that the representative didn't even record what information I provided him regarding this franchise. I would not recommend Whataburger to anyone ever! You can't trust them to charge you accordingly and you just can't not respond to an issue like this. I would have just been satisfied with the over charge...
Read morePlaced order inside with team lead Cassie. One member of our party had wished to sun mayonnaise on her sandwich in place of the creamy pepper sauce. Cassie attempted three times to make the change prior to payment, but those three attempts were unsuccessful. She then said she would let the line know to change it, took two steps towards the line before promptly turning around and telling us the line was too backed up and she would be unable to make the substitution for our guest. Upon employee bringing food out to the table, there were no fries nor onion rings on the tray, nor sauces ordered and paid for. Employee asked to see our receipt to verify we had actually ordered and paid for the condiments we were requesting. Several more minutes went by before the same employee emerged with fries and onion rings, but again with no sauces. A member of our party asked if it would be more effective if she were to take the receipt up to the cashier station and request the sauces herself, with a rude response from the employee that he knew his job if we would just let him do it. Several additional minutes passed before the sauces arrived, which by this time the fries and onion rings were both cold and unsatisfying. The entree portions of our meals were absolutely delicious, but unfortunately the terrible customer service is what will stand out about this experience, and we won’t return to this...
