When life decides it wants to throw you a curveballs many of us know it's never just one thing. After replacing our refrigerator, water heater, drain field for sceptic, among several other hefty expenses in just the last year, the clothes washer finally decided to join the bandwagon and give up on us. After looking around and getting tired of things breaking we discovered the Speed Queen brand, as well as Ken and Kerrie's as they were one of the few stores that sold them locally.

I will have to say what brought me to their doorstep first among other stores that also sold Speed Queens was the reviews left here by others, I thank you all for those as they really do help and make a difference. Especially when bill after bill piles up, and you need to make sure your purchase counts as money gets tight. Most of us have been there at one point or another, and the reviews here as well as the responses from Ken and Kerrie's remind me of that small town feel that seems to be slowly fading away as everything around us gets faster and busier.

From walking in the store until walking out with a new washer, I can honestly say at no point did I ever feel pressured to make a purchase. That is something that is important to me, especially with my aforementioned situation with expenses. All my questions and concerns were answered regarding the machines I was interested in, and as a added bonus when some of the people that work there own Speed Queens as well you get more information than you would during a typical sale propaganda. Which not only puts doubts at ease about the machines, but opens the door for learning tips and tricks that comes from just ownership of the machine over the years.

Now why the long winded post? It's simple, I needed a washer and walked into Ken and Kerrie's. Two hours later I had a new washer installed in my home and my old one hauled away. I cannot say that I can expect that from many other places, but I found that here. Here I felt like family, many places make that claim. I can assure you, here you will find that.
