I came in today and frankly I was very uncomfortable. As I was shopping a black lady late 20s early 30s who I’m guessing is a manager began to tell one of her employees that he was being too slow and it looks like he wasn’t doing much, when in fact he was organizing a mess in the hair care area. Not even 10 mins later she comes again and tells him to start working in another section. I later was in the clothes area and she began to question two other young employees on what they were doing and when in fact they too were fixing the area. When I was in line to pay I heard two other customers talking amongst themselves on how she was also yelling at the cashiers that they too were being too slow and that they thought it wasn’t right that she was doing that in front of customers and that they too felt uncomfortable. Honestly when I saw her throughout the store she didn’t look like she herself was doing much and was too busy telling others what to do, when in fact she should’ve stepped in herself and helped them out if she felt they needed help instead of just disciplining them in front...

The individual that so happened to help me was the manager by the name of Jimmy. His customer service skills is horrible and very disrespectful and unethical. Dont know which policy he was following and I've been shopping at Marshall's for over 15 years and this is the first time I've ever felt humiliated in front of other customers that were waiting to be rung up. He told me that I could not return my pants because they were purchased that day I had my purchase receipt and tags with me at that moment but I don't know what more I needed to provide him to complete the return transaction. Read moreIf I could give this location zero stars, I would. A group of four of us — all young women in our 20s — went in to shop and were followed around the store by two employees the entire time. It was incredibly uncomfortable and honestly insulting. We weren’t being loud or suspicious. We were there for less than a hour actually browsing and looking through the entire store. Two of us didn’t even have bags or purses, and one had a tiny purse.
