Johnnie, the customer service cashier, was the RUDEST cashier ever today. First of all, when I walk in she is fiddling around with some products and completely ignores me standing in front of her waiting to be helped. This goes on for a few minutes until she is finally ready to acknowledge me. The customer behind me says she is interested in purchasing the product that she was fiddling with and johnnie got an attitude with her, too. I ask what their return policy without a receipt was and CLEARLY stated that I have had my product over 30 days so I get it if it’s been too long to return it, but just wanted to ask to be sure. She asks me how long I have had the product and I said I don’t know exactly but I know it has been over a month, maybe around 2 months and that I used the rewards program when I purchased it and wasn’t sure if that could help us figure out the timeframe. She got smart right away saying it doesn’t matter if I used rewards and that it doesn’t help her anyway. Then goes on to say they extended their return timeframe starting in October for the holidays. I said ok so is there anyway you can scan it or something and see if it was October that I purchased it? Since that was between one and two months ago! This was just a polite question because I don’t know how their products work or what they keep track of, but she is obviously not helping and only interested in getting me out of line. She again is rude and says “MA’AM, you already told me you bought it over two months ago so I can’t help you”. When i I told her I DIDNT KNOW WHEN I bought it, but that it was over a month ago, MAYBE two months. As we was trying on the jeans it was close to closing time and a manager passed by me to let me know. I said as soon as my son is done trying on jeans we are done. She jumped all over me about not having merchandise in bathroom and even said cant you read, right in front of my children. Again I reminder her that her employee that im not respinsible for training gave me permission. This is the first time that I have ever encountered racial hate on me. Well all the birthday stuff, christmas stuff, stuff to make cookies to give out. And the new bibles i had my children pick out. ( about $300.00) dollars worth of stuff. Read moreDeals are kind of meh, employees average in re: to customer service, BUT there is a manager who assisted me re a couple of issues in an outstanding fashion (his name I can't recall -begins w a D it might be Denny). Not only were the issues resolved satisfactorily , but carelessly I forgot some prepaid gift cards from another store (apr. $250 value) which he secured in the company safe for the evening - it was late at closing time Sunday night no one else was nearby (I wasn't even certain that I had left them there), a dishonest employee could have easily pocketed. Customer service is, at MOST places, so utterly poor that when somebody is outstanding it deserves notice. As a result 4 stars instead of 3. EMPLOYERS NEED TO RECOGNIZE AND REWARD THEIR EMPLOYEES WHO PROVIDE TOP NOTCH...
