Went in to see about financing a riding mower, was told 3 different things by 3 different people, and was told not to worry they don't do a hard credit pull they just look at your monthly income. Filled out paperwork, a gentleman took me in his office and said "well based on your credit I see you been late on a few payments for things in the past, I would need about, ummm, I'd say probably 1,000 down for you able to finance that mower". Felt like he just threw a number out there. I've been working on my credit so didn't want a hard credit pull as it hurts your score a bit, but they did anyways. I feel like all that could have been avoided if I had just one person to talk to who would have listened to what I was trying to say instead of being passed to 3 different people and then just told to fill out stuff on the computer. My credit is not great no, but I've recently paid off a truck loan of 5 years, been at my job 5 years and living in the same house for 10 years, my monthly income to debt ratio is great and I knew what my budget allowed as I tried telling the first person I spoke to my situation about working on my credit. Was able to go somewhere else the same day and finance a mower, so I feel like there was definitely a lack of customer attention and listening with my situation. They advertise as "no credit needed" and things like that but if your trying to rebuild your credit just wait until you know it's great or else trying here will hurt you. This was just my experience, I'm sure if you went in and were buying something outright or had great credit you'd receive better customer service...

“Galax VA Location” This experience was just dreadful!! My family came into this place Friday, and honestly loved the entire experience at first! The Sales lady “Aimee” was offering different products to us, and I mentioned in my past I worked with a company like Schewels she for some reason just thought that it would be hilarious to make fun of that job and belittle the entire community that ever worked those sort of jobs. I may not work for these companies anymore and do my own thing, but I will not tolerate a SALES-PERSON who thinks it’s okay to belittle people AT ALL! I’ve worked hard from where I came from and others are still doing it. Not only did this woman think it was okay to do it with just me and my family even though we clearly thought it wasn’t a joke AT all! She proceeded to go to the sells desk and poke fun at the situation even more and belittle the situation even more up-front of her co-workers. We were paying customers that walked into this place to buy in the first place with or without a “Good” salesperson.

Do better!!! Do not make fun of your competitors and be-little them!

Updating the situation with furniture store in Galax Virginia. They did read my review and after that they called me and told me they would give me an electric recliner if I wanted to get it and they would take the old recliner back. I was then very pleased at what I got it is very comfortable your legs raise up slowly and then they let down slowly there is no pitching you forward or out of any of the chair. I love my new electric recliner they are great to have because the others require you to have strengths to push the arms so they foot rest can raise up or down. This is electric one is so easy and it is so helpful because I have arthritis rheumatoid in my hands and back and legs plus I have neuropathy. This chair does not hurt my arthritis I don't have to push anything except two little buttons on the side of the chair arm to lift and lower my legs and that means everything to someone who is in pain and it never lets up and it never stops. So thank you furniture store for giving me an upgraded electric recliner thank you so much you were more than pleasant to be dealing with and they came very quickly to replace my chair. Now I will give you all the stars because you went above and beyond...
