Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Galax

Firstly, we have always enjoyed Pizza Hut and never had any issues... until today. I did an online order, and my husband went to pick the order up. We had a large order, so I insisted that he check before he left to ensure that all the items were accounted for and in the bag. We had ordered the Cheesy Bites Pizza, which includes a flight of 3 ranch dressings, which was missing. Upon entering the store, there were 2 ladies behind the counter. For lack of names (which I reminded him he should've asked), we'll call them Blonde and Brunette. He had interacted with Blonde when he picked up the order with no issues. He told Brunette that the flight of sauces was missing. She said he was mistaken. He replied that he wasn't, he had just checked and offered to retrieve the bag. She again said she had put them there herself, so he was mistaken. He insisted the sauces were missing. At this time, she began raising her voice and telling him he was wrong. It went back and forth several times. She finally (in a raised aggressive voice) stated, "Fine! I'll get your sauces even though I know they are in there!" Blonde then turned to my husband and apologized for Brunette's behavior. He told her that it wasn't her fault and asked if Brunette was her supervisor. She said that she was. Brunette then came back with marinara sauce, and my husband explained we had the marinara and was missing the ranch flight. She then returned with the ranch flight, and my husband asked for her supervisor's number. He told her she did not need to be treating paying customers this way. She gave him the number and said, "Now leave!" I know this is a lot for 3 missing ranch dressings but the entire situation was completely ridiculous and so unnecessary. We will not be returning for a long time. We couldn't even enjoy our pizza due to how Brunette made us feel. Please note..The attitude of your employees can actually be more important than the taste of your food. Especially when there are 2 more pizza places in a mile radius. Hopefully, with my time and order number attached (as well as my husband's call to her supervisor) this will be addressed. Thank you, Blonde worker, for being a nice human being. Kindness...

The worst place to eat when we as a family of 4 come in to eat on sunday afternoon there was 1 half of a pizza on the bar I asked if there would be more I was told the waiter took our drink order beside the salad bar and we seated our selves. My husband and daughter went to get their salad after they got seated angela and I went to get pizza well there was 2 and some what of a half pizzas there but all was cheese pizza I had to ask for silverware to eat with the waitress said there was none I ask how will we eat the salad and pasta? Our drinks had not come yet. The second trip to the bar there was no plates pizza hut had to go buy paper plates and placi silverware there was only 3 or 4 pizzas on the bar that went so fast because pizza hut was full. I even said maybe you should put a sign on the door , Not much pizza you have to eat like our on a picnic with placi silverware and paper plates etc and the salad bar stayed a mess I did complain to a manager and he looked and spoke like oh well.... so paying for 2 adults and 2 children and only eating like 3 small slices of pizza a piece and 2 having salads is was the worst I felt like I got robbed and I will not be back unless pizza hut makes it right with me ty have a nice day the day we was there was sunday...

I have always loved pizza hut and their food. Galax has an amazing place that shows how much the company is trying to bring back families to their restaurant. It's a wonderful draw for families with children, it's a game room! A few glitches from the machines but the company who owns & operates them are great at replacing credits. We love the open concept dining room & love the patio. I enjoy having the choice to partake an adult beverage out with my family.

The staff there are great! You can feel the positive atmosphere with the staff. They are short staffed often, like many other places but Galax pizza hut has a genuine spirit of apologies to their guests. They are friendly, fast, always made to order, nothing left out or cooked ahead and as always amazing taste!

I always try to remember that we are all human beings and thus will make accidents and mistakes. No need to be rude or hateful to the staff. It happens and they are always willing to remake or give credit or about anything within reason to satisfy their guests.
