The actual shopping experience was fine. The manager then called and said they could not deliver due to COVID-19. Said they would call back and reschedule when operations returned to normal. I see online that they are offering curbside no contact delivery for free when they were charging me $99.99 for delivery... a service they said they couldn't provide at that time. So I contacted them and told them I wanted my furniture delivered. The manager called me back didn't even say where she was calling from with a super nasty attitude. Any time I talked she would literally yell over the top of me so I hung up on her. She never tried to resolve the issue and literally tried to blame the situation on me!! Later I got a call from the Warehouse manager who nicely set up the delivery. I had asked for a higher up manager to contact me and I then started receiving text messages from THE SAME MANAGER.... VERY WEIRD as a very LAST resort she refunded the $99.99 for a delivery service they literally were not fulfilling in the first place as it was "white glove" and they were doing curbside which on their website is FREE. She should have offered this FROM THE START as they were billing me for a service they were not providing. The area manager wrote a nice email but really did not try to save the relationship. I literally only had bought my living room furniture in this purchase and have an entire house to fill as I did not move furniture with us when I bought my new house. I guess I will go somewhere else for the rest of it because I will not risk that situation again. I have looked online and other people have complained about how rude this same lady is. You would think the store would take these complaints seriously but they do not. Also they asked for a "power review" but wouldn't publish it because I wrote about my bad experience in it.... Pro Tip: NEVER buy from a company that censors reviews. That means they are only seeking positive reviews to look good not to actually provide quality goods...
Read moreVERY UNIMPRESSED!!! Flimsy, poorly made and VERY expensive! Less than 2 mo after buying sectional here, 3 pieces broke. Clearly manufacturing issues but they refused to honor the 1 year warranty or replace them. Go to Big Lots or the rescue mission, you'll get BETTER quality furniture and FAR less $ robbed from your pocket.
UPDATE: FINALLY got the 5yr repair svc to come to my house and fix my furniture... Ordered new mechanical bases and back rests for 3 sectional pieces and did half-a##ed repairs on the other issues (ripped out stitching, lost cushion fill, broken seats) that a 6 yr old could do better. I would have been better off making my own furniture out of old pallets and sticks floating on the river bank... It's now a YEAR AND A HALF later and the new pieces NEVER showed up. Called them MANY times about it but got a runaround EVERY time. The repair svc is as bad as the furniture they sell. They make EVERY excuse NOT to live up to their side of the sale transaction... GET YOUR FURNITURE ELSEWHERE!!! NOTHING good about this place...
3 YR UPDATE: Every piece of the furniture I bought there 3 1/2 years ago has COMPLETELY fallen apart... I have NONE of it left. I bought a big 6 pc sectional and recliner there and it's all broken down and fallen apart. My family did NOT mistreat our furniture, (wrestle on it, jump on it, etc), I don't allow that. We sat on it, we used it as it was INTENDED to be used. I paid it off and will not look back at all, but I WILL do all I can to deter another citizen from buying this garbage that they call "furniture"... ONCE AGAIN, DO NOT WASTE...
Read moreThe staff was extremely helpful. They allowed me to try before I purchased, I’ve called everywhere locally to get a power lift chair for my mom. Very few had any in stock or couldn't even order any. Her current chair that she’s had over 10 years has failed. Most places in the area has reported a three to six month wait on the lift chairs do to COVID. Not many stores are able to keep any on the show room floor as there is a high demand for them these days. Slumberland had some on the floor to try out which allowed me to pick the right comfort and size. Buying local was a plus to support our local community, you get to test, feel and see what you’re purchasing verses online. They had some ordered to come in first week of April 2021 which is a bonus, however they did have to place a disclaimer out there it could take up to three months. We are hopeful that the April shipment will be on time and they will be able to call us. We was impressed with the no pressure, no sales pitch just straight local people helping their customers. I was very pleased with the service. The products are solid, well constructed, extremely comfortable. The prices were very comparable to the other stores I visited. All lift chairs were also on sale which helped the back pocket as well. The show room surprised me with the amount of selection they had in house and the quality of the...
