Lennys Grill & Subs — Restaurant in Galesburg

Went through the drive-thru here today with an order for my family of very particular eaters. My order was long and convoluted, with a lot of "take away this, add that, and a side of that". Considering this, I was not looking forward to placing the order, but braved on nonetheless for the sake of my ravenous children and crazed-with-hunger hubby. Not only was the girl super nice the entire time (she really was nice, especially considering the big, fussy order) but it was fast and everything perfect! Delicious and exactly as ordered. She even wrapped up everything extra carefully (side-sauce) so nothing spilled. There is another sandwich place in town where we cannot count on them to be nice (hit or miss), but we CAN count on them to smash our sandwiches together in a frenzy so they look like they were in a "train-wreck". These from Lenny's today were all put together beautifully, no wreckage to speak of. I was very impressed. Food was perfect and service was fast and pleasant - and good, friendly service really reflects highly on your business. Absolutely horrible. Lenny's is new to the Galesburg area and my girlfriend and I were in the mood for something new. We decided to give Lenny's a try and I was immediately disappointed. There were at least 5 employees up near the counter. Not a single one of them said anything to use as we walked by; they simply stood where they were talking to each other. We made it to the counter to order where a young lady stood behind the register not saying a word and looking depressed. We ordered, with her still in complete silence. When we finished she did tell us where the chips were located. We sat down in the cold dining room waiting for our food. When the food did come to us, we noticed that they ordered our simple order wrong. We didn't have the time to complain so we didn't say anything. The sandwiches we ok. I had a 10 inch philly and about 1/3 of the sandwich was just bread; the meat was piled up on the other part of the sandwich. We also noticed overflowing trash cans in the dining room and urine all over the bathroom floor and toilet seat. I cant believe that I payed $25 for 2 disappointing sandwiches and the worst customer service in my entire life! I...

Food is alright. terrible service.waited 20 min for sandwiches and for 10 min they were done sitting there waiting for someone to bag them and hand them out . The cashier was in lala land the cook ended up giving them to us while he was already running around cooking and taking orders to the tables. Also if u leave a ad review you will be harassed and I called the store to let them know and the manager hung up on me
