Tonight I came by Sonic just to get some blast for me and my friend, we arrived a couple minutes before closing (maybe 5 or more) and parked in one of the slots that you must push a button to order. I pushed the button because the people inside looked eager to leave and just wanted to order quickly so they could leave (I also work in food service I know the struggle). They ignored my request to order. I figured maybe something was wrong with the machine, so I went to others and even the part of the establishment when you can sit down rather then be in your car and try to order. I looked inside and all I could see was them laughing at me and my friend trying to get shakes. I pulled around through te drive through and tried to order through there and they shut off all the lights and continued laughing as if making a joke out of customers would help business. I am utterly disgusted that this location would hire such individuals that do not pay any attention to their customers. If you do not want to cater to them or at least say to them "I'm sorry we are closing down please come tomorrow" why are you even open? Seriously. Sonic or any business cannot stand without its customers, so why are you laughing at us trying to help...
Read moreWe waited at a stall after pressing the red button for 15 minutes with no response before deciding to try the drive thru lane instead. Ordered a bacon breakfast sandwich meal with tater tots, 5 packets of fry sauce, and an orange juice…. Orange juice was sold out, a bummer-but I get it, so I got a Dr. Pepper instead. We waited another 10-12 minutes at the window for our food after ordering, pretty standard for a drive thru. We left and got on the road to our destination only to find that they gave us a sausage breakfast sandwich instead of the bacon we ordered, didn’t give us the fry sauce we paid for, and the tater tots were stale and cold. Normally, I wouldn’t leave a review for a situation because of the current short-staffing situation. However, I feel like that wasn’t a valid excuse for our experience this morning as it wasn’t busy at all (1 car in a stall and 1 other car in front of us at the drive thru line) and our order wasn’t complicated at all. Read moreHorrible Customer Service, I don’t know her name cause she never brings the food out only takes order in the evening night shift but over my last 3 visits there have been some form of technical issues with the buttons at pull in where I sit for 15-30 minutes waiting to have my order taken then my call is canceled so I have to press the button again (2-3x). When I finally get some one I am greeted with a rude, short toned worker who simply says “if the machine wasn’t working I don’t know what to tell you” (she gives the same response when the app doesn’t sell the slush flavor you ask for so you lose out on the happy hour price) no apology, not sorry for me being ignored, nothing and all of these “menu issues” happen to be about an hour before close consistently so it’s hard to not view it as purposeful ignorance occurring towards the end of shift.
