Lark and Larder — Local services in Garden City

We went to this store for the first time on December 23, looking for Ritual Zero proof Gin. We discovered that the lady handling this product had a temporary store next door to Lark and Larder. We visited both stores but we only enjoyed interacting with the lady from the temporary store. At that time, we notice an unpleasant behavior from the person working at Lark & Larder and we thought that the busy holiday season was responsible for it. We returned to this place in January, and we found out that the temporary store was gone. We interacted again with the same person working at Lark and Larder; she was again unpleasant, rude and hostile towards my husband and me. Lark and Larder has been such a gift to us Bench Dwellers! I constantly stop here for fresh bread, delicious drinks (wine, beer, kombuchas), and gifts for family and friends. Carissa is so passionate about all of the products she carries and gives great recommendations and information on her products. I also love just chatting with her and feeling that neighborhood connection when I am in her shop. The representation of women-owned, Idaho-owned, and POC-owned companies is fabulous and she can always give you more information about where the product is coming from or who the maker is.
