me and my friends recently had the pleasure of participating in "Merlin's Final Wizard Test," and I can confidently say it was an experience I won't forget! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was enchanting and immersive, transporting us into a magical realm filled with puzzles and mysteries. Clementine, our game master, did an incredible job guiding us through the adventure. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she expertly set the stage for our quest. With her detailed explanations, we felt fully prepared to tackle the challenges that lay ahead. It was evident that she genuinely cared about our experience, providing hints at just the right moments without giving too much away. The room itself was beautifully designed, with clever decorations that added to the overall theme. Each puzzle was thoughtfully crafted and truly engaged our problem-solving skills. We found ourselves lost in the magic of the game, working together as a team to decipher clues and unlock the secrets of Merlin's legacy. What stood out the most was the balance between fun and challenge. Just when we thought we had figured everything out, a twist would keep us on our toes. The storytelling element was fantastic, making us feel like we were part of an epic adventure rather than just solving puzzles. I can't recommend "Merlin's Final Wizard Test" enough. This is the second Escape room place I’ve ever been to, and it was disappointing to be honest. The actual place is a repurposed house. When compared to the other place I’ve been (Treasure Valley Escape Rooms), it just doesn’t compare. Treasure Valley is very clean, very organized, very high quality, and this just felt kind of second rate. Not only that, but we solved our room in about 35 minutes, which was very deflating and anti climactic when you consider what we paid. I’m shocked they charge as much as they do. The puzzles were alright, I guess it was just too easy, and this was only the third escape room I’ve ever done in my life, so it’s not like I’m skilled or anything. Treasure Valley Escape Rooms has a multi room experience as well, so if you’re used to something like that, this was a big step down. Unless someone pays for me or something, I won’t go back to this...

Bobby was a great host for Escape This Boise! He kept things simple! Gave us a great layout of what we were about to do and the 2 hints we got were great in that they did not give it away but kept the game rolling. This place is in an interesting location. Initially you may be thinking am i going to an escape room or escaping someone's basement. But as you walk in the staff ive interacted with have been super friendly and nice. They have fun little games to keep you entertained in the waiting room. I've done 2 rooms here. The wizard room i did first and it was super fun, and second I did the zombie apocalypse room.
