I went in to redeem my "Guest Appreciation Punch Card" last Sunday 11/5/2023. I wasn't being a difficult or disrespectful customer, but was just trying to redeem the thing. I figured it would be a quick and simple transaction. At first I was told that I had to purchase a drink. I respectfully let the cashier know that that wasn't spelled out in the terms and conditions on the card. Then she spoke with her manager, after which she tried to charge me after a 5 dollar discount. Again, that's not what the card said. Finally, the manager read all the fine print on the card, and admitted that it didn't specify either of those conditions. She then stated curtly, "That's the way we've always done it... I guess we'll have to change our cards." Then she walked away. I got the same rudeness from the cashier after I said thank you, and received no response. Again, I wasn't being difficult -- I only pointed out what the punch card actually said. Needless to say, I had been a loyal customer (you have to be to fill a punch card), and they only succeeded in making my visit unpleasant and disappointing. Their unprofessional and discourteous actions put a sour taste in my mouth so to speak. There were no apologies on their behalf. A little humility...

I came in on Saturday, 10/18, after avoiding this location for quite some time since it hadnāt been great in the past. To my surprise, things have completely turned around! It looks like thereās been a change in managementāfrom a previously not-so-friendly blonde woman to a new team led by a very polite young gentleman (I believe his name was Jiffy, based on what the other employees called him) and another friendly gentleman named Logan.
The service was excellent, the food was fresh and delicious, and the restaurant was spotless. The staff truly went above and beyond to make the experience great. Iāll definitely be coming back to the Overland location instead of going out of my way to other ones.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had one punch left on my punch card before I could get my free item, and the employee punched not only my 9th item, but he also punched my free spot, making my punch card completely useless. I explained to him that he punched my free spot, and that I would like him to give me a new card with only 9 punches... it's buy 9, get the 10th free... and his explanation was that he was just trying to help me out. Making my card invalid certainly isn't helpful. Even after me explaining that I can't use that card now, and the reason why, he continued to defend his position. Customer service is a skill, and it would benefit this employer immensely to train their workers to give great customer service. Sad that this location doesn't make...
