THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL JOKE! Stay away from doing business with Harry's Marine Life. George, one of their employees lied to me. He told me a price on a specific shark and size, then when I went to purchase the fish, George advised me the price was $85 higher than he originally quoted me. What kind of business practice is this lying to customers? In addition, George would not honor my request to speak to ownership regarding matter. As a result, I will never ever do business with this company and suggest nobody else does as well. Furthermore, after comparing Harry's Marine Life's to their competition, After further review, I found Harry's Marine Life's prices to be extremely higher than their competition, as well offering a not as good guarantee on live stock. In addition, I have read many threads on the net about people complaining about the fish they bought from Harry's Marine Life that were either dead upon arriving home, or they died quickly, or were sick and as a result all the fish in aquarium died. The fabricated lies below in response to my negative review, are even more reason to not do business with Harry's Marine Life. They will lie to you too and have zero clue as to what good customer service / customer satisfaction means. Regardless, I am elated I found the same horn shark elsewhere that Harry's Marine Life is selling at a much lower price, with a better guarantee and most importantly with no lies attached! When it's all said and done, Harry's Marine Life was just trying to squeeze more money out of me and it backfired on them. Furthermore, they are without a doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life and I have filed complaints against them with the Department of Consumer Affairs and BBB for promoting deceptive business practices. I'll start by saying the corals they auction off seem healthy and are a good size for the price.

My issue is I purchased a dead pool mushroom which came mounted to a rock. I added it to the lowest flow part of my tank and within 1 hour it was sucked off THEIR rock and into the powerhead. I notified them and provided a photo of what was remaining to see if they thought it would survive. I never asked for a refund at this point. There response was "unfortunately we would not cover this, mushrooms frequently detach from their plugs and should be kept in a very low flow until they find a suitable place to attach." I would think when selling a mushroom already mounted to a plug/rock it should of been properly mounted unless they're turning & burning their corals which I expect is the case. They always say on the live sales they make things right. If it were my business I would of recommended splitting the $45 cost. That's making things right.

I would suggest anyone wanting to purchase corals via an on line auction to use Aquariums Wholesale. These guys TRULY make things right and take care of their customers. They also allow you to add on to previous un-shipped orders without a $20 fee as well.

I would stay far away from this business. This operation is a joke. I placed an order and my entire experience was horrible. All three fish I ordered arrived dead. The fish were shipped in tiny bags. It was def not enough oxygen for shipping. The way the fish were shipped they didn’t stand a chance to survive. Aside from that, the order wasn’t even correct. When I called and told the guy the fish arrived dead and two fish were not what I ordered. All he wanted to do is argue with me. I didn’t receive an invoice when I placed the order. I emailed and NEVER received response. They didn’t send an invoice until it shipped and conveniently too late for order to be corrected. I said I was going to report the transaction to the bank and he told me good luck. I wouldnt be successful because they issue credit. Ha! I followed the instructions and sent pictures of the dead fish with date written and no reply or credit of any kind has been provided. This place is a joke.
