I normally love this place. It's a once in awhile treat for my bday. Well, i know the staff has to protect their store and products, but from the moment we went in the staff was on us like white on rice. The whole time. Eyes glued to us. Very Very Very pushy, following us around and repeatedly asking if we needed anything after saying no thank u we are fine. We went up to register to pay, and then They even called security to do walk through while watching us like a hawk. Once we paid they called off the security check lol we kept our hands visable at all times, didnt have bags or purses with us. i get you have to protect the product, but i hope you also realize what a massive turn off it was and i will not be going back again. Very pushy employees and made it an uneasy and tense experience. They made us feel extremely unwanted and uneasy. I go to traverse city almost every two weeks with my mom to go shopping and this used to be my fav store in TC until I realized that now when I started coming in the employees were following me and watching me like a vulture. but the reason I'm never going back is because a couple months ago I went by myself and bought a small clay whistle and the woman putting it in the bag dropped it behind the counter and it shattered. I demanded my money back and she began saying no refunds and that it wasn't her fault that it broke. I had already paid so I couldn't just choose not to give her the money now so I ended up leaving the store and never going back and I expect an email sent to me or a reply offering my seven dollars and...

Today i was rudely escorted out of the store because the staff member there assumed I was a druggie because I was looking at the cool knight helmets on the wall which happened to be by the zippo lighters. She asked for my Id and I asked her why. She said I couldn’t look at the lighters which I can somewhat understand but then I told her I wasn’t looking at the lighters I was looking at the knight helmets. She presumed to say I was lying and she knew what I was actually doing in that section which kind of offends me that she thinks I am doing drugs. She then kicked me out of the store.
