Kattia Moreno||a day ago on Google||1/5||Vacation ❘ Family||Bad service, despotic staff, the rooms are small, dark and smelly , poor distribution of space. We stayed one night and received terrible treatment from the lady of front desk worker, since we arrived ( July 12 , 6:30 pm ) , she was despotic and spoiled without any greeting , not even a Hi , not even she made any eye contact during registration, then the same in a second interaction with me later and finally at night when I went down to request some sheets since the sofa bed mattress had a red stain that looked like blood, she looked at me with contempt and without saying anything, she continued doing what she was doing and organizing her towels, giving me her back , I had to ask her if she had heard me? and she replied that there was but she was finishing doing her things, she just ignored me , I asked for another person to help me and a man named Paul came out to whom I requested the sheets and complained about the attitude of his colleague, and I asked that my complaint be official and reported to the manager, to which he told me that the next morning he would do it and the manager would speak with me, it never happened, the next morning the same worker was at the front desk with another one just like her, still without greeting and in a despotic manner. I don't know if the treatment is like that with all the guests or just with us. Also the hotel is expensive ( 323 dollars per night!!!! ) for the bad service it provides, we were three and I made sure to have a sofa bed for my son, which came with only a blanket and a mini pillow, so I had to go down twice to ask for a pillow and then to ask for sheets, the mattress had red stains that looked like blood. The door to the room barely opens onto the sinks and when someone opens it you can clearly see guest brushing their teeth or showering face without any privacy, our room being in front of the elevator, which is even worst if we opened the door we could see all the people from the elevator , and they can see us watching our face or brushing teeth . I had another reservation for next August 1, and definitely I Canceled it right after I leave this hotel . I used Baymont at NY couple of years ago and it was not too bad . This one in Traverse city is horrible with horrible staff . Avoid it...

Read moreI never usually do this but I have to. But first I have to tell you the front desk staff is absolutely amazing. This being a holiday weekend? I paid double. I was in a room right next to the ice machine. Vending machine and elevator no big deal the noise. Helped me sleep. Then the first morning I wake up and I throw over the covers and there's a bug in my bed like a small flying ant. OK, no big deal. I was at the campfire. I couldn't headed out my clothes and it could have fell off while getting ready for bed. I brushed it off the rest of my weekend and prior to departure.I'd like to do a thorough once over looking in the drawers under the beds etc just to make sure I didn't leave anything important. And I don't like to leave a mess. As I looked under the bed, I seen something white. I was like. Oh, it must be a washcloth. So I got my phone out, turned on my flashlight. And looked nope, not a washcloth. It was a tube sock. Yup. Being a mom of boys, it completely mortified me because I know don't ever pick up dirty socks. I literally was shaking when I was telling the lady at the front desk. I was disgusted that I slept in this room for 2 days with that under my bed. And of course, she said unfortunately, there was nothing she could do for me because I booked it through a third party AK.A Sam's Club that I would have to contacted them. Not great customer service whatsoever. I'm sorry, ma'am. There is a no refunds policy yup i wasn't looking for a refund. I was looking for some sort of compensation. Never will I ever stay at a Baymont again or book through sams club oh not to mention the stains on the sheets was this room...
