Do Not Buy furniture from Bakers furniture. I am an elderly disabled veteran and bought an over-sized recliner from Baker furniture Garland. The problems began before I received the chair. It took almost 2 months to get it. From the beginning, I was having problems with the chair and worked closely with Baker furniture to remedy the problems. They worked well with me until I determined the chair was not going to work for me. The chair is very uncomfortable and I don't believe it is made correctly. I tried working w/ Baker Furniture to return the chair. They will not. I have not had the chair 2 months and have exhausted all avenues to fix what is a brand new chair. Bakers Furniture says the return period is 10 days, but that is no where on the paperwork I received when purchasing the chair and when I said that to Mr. Baker, he said it didn't have to be listed anywhere. Their website says they are committed to customer service and especially committed to assisting disabled persons. I am not finding that to be the slightest bit true. So far I am stuck with a virtually brand new $1000 chair that I cannot sit in. Mr. Baker hasn't been the slightest empathetic to my problems. Read moreI ordered my furniture over the phone. David Baker was really professional and sent me an email with my sales invoice within a day of placing my order. I ordered before Christmas and Furniture was delivered January 31st., 2017. A little slow in delivery, however the drivers that delivered and set up the furniture were very professional. The paperwork that came with the furniture did not match my original sales invoice. There was one paper that showed the delivery fee. I paid this with a check. The other piece of paper was supposed to be a replica of my original sales invoice. It was not. It actually showed a balance due. I called David Baker and he said it looked like a computer error. For some reason, it did not put in the discount that is shown on the original sales invoice. The order number was also changed. Read moreGreeted friendly at location, and Warehouse manger was friendly on delivery. Did not care for the length of time to wait for delivery. It was 9 weeks. Also prices are extremely high. Two recliners and love seat over $4000 and quality ok but not $4000 worth. Ashley's would have sold me a full living room set with sofa, lounge chairs, two end tables and coffee table for $4000.
