I love taking my pups here! They are so good at being able to tailor to your specific needs and schedule. I only get rescue dogs so each one comes with a special need.

Miss Daisy, my dog that passed away a few years back, had a seizure disorder and had survived through two strokes. My vet warned us that stress could trigger seizures so I was very nervous about getting her groomed and didn’t want to take her to “just anyone”. The Dog House was very accommodating, getting her in at a time when not a lot of activity was going on and shortening her appointments so she wouldn’t be away for too long.

A few years later, Mr Darcy came into our world. He was a sad, abused pup missing most of his fur and most of his eyesight due to untreated eye infections. He had horrible trust issues and would cower away from most people. The Dog House employees offered to let him do a “walk through” a few days before his appointment so he could get a feel of the place. They immediately worked on bonding with him and speaking to him so he would start to learn their voices and know they were friends, not enemies. He is also in renal failure and has to have constant access to water because his body does not regulate it like it should. He has a very special diet and they keep his treats with him so he doesn’t accidentally eat anything I haven’t had the vet approve of him having. The Dog House has never had any problem keeping him safe in their care. Since taking him there, he has actually really started to come out of his shell. Earlier when the front office lady went to get him I could see him wagging his tail like crazy as soon as he heard her voice. He always comes out looking and feeling great with a pep in his step.

I’ve been taking my dog here for a little over a year now. I took Olaf to get groomed last week as he was over due for a hair cut. When we picked him up we were told they had cut him with the clippers and to keep an eye on it. We understand groomers make mistakes and since this was his first “big” cut, we were okay with it. A couple days went by and I get a call from one of the groomers checking up to see how his cut was doing, I just want to say I’ve never received a follow up call when the groomers messed up so I was very happy that they called to follow up. A couple more days went by and we saw no improvement on the cut and even put medicine on it. So I called the groomers yesterday 6/9, and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke to Robert who said he was the one that finished up my dog and saw his cut and said he was going to take him to the vet to get it checked out but figured he was going to be okay. He advised me to take him to the vet and to send him the bill and they would reimburse me! We took him to the vet today, 6/10, and as promised, Robert reimbursed me the money I had to pay to get Olaf checked out. I am so thankful that they care that much about the pets and do anything and everything they can to help us out when they make mistakes. After this, Olaf will definitely still be going to The Dog House Grooming because it’s hard to find a groomers that will take really good care of your pets! Thank you so much...

I can’t say enough good things about The Dog House Grooming in Garland, Texas! I brought in my Shiba Inu and White Shepherd for a grooming session, and they exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do.

Both of my dogs can be a handful—especially my Shiba Inu, who’s notoriously independent—but the groomers handled them with such care and professionalism. They took the time to ask about my dogs’ specific needs, preferences, and sensitivities, which put me completely at ease.

When I picked them up, they looked absolutely stunning! My Shiba Inu’s coat was shiny and perfectly brushed, and my White Shepherd was immaculately clean and soft—she even smelled amazing without the overpowering fragrance you sometimes get at other places. You could tell they paid close attention to every little detail.

What really stood out was how happy and calm both of my dogs were afterward, which speaks volumes about the loving and stress-free environment at The Dog House.

I highly recommend this place to any dog parent looking for top-notch grooming services. We’ll definitely be back—this is now our go-to grooming spot!
