I had the absolute pleasure of being assisted by Lauren at Sephora, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience! As someone who is completely new to makeup, I walked in feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to even start. But Lauren was an absolute lifesaver!
From the moment I mentioned I was a beginner, she made me feel comfortable and never once made me feel judged for my lack of knowledge. She patiently walked me through the basics, asking thoughtful questions about my preferences, skin type, and lifestyle. Lauren took the time to explain different products, tools, and techniques in a way that was easy to understand. She even swatched colors on my skin to ensure I found the perfect shades that complemented my complexion.
What stood out the most was how she didn’t just push the most expensive items but gave me honest recommendations based on what would work best for me. She also made sure I left with confidence, giving me helpful tips on how to apply everything once I got home.
Thanks to Lauren, I now feel excited (instead of intimidated) about using makeup, and I’m thrilled with the products she helped me select. The store manager Kimberly was very rude, disrespectful and racist with my wife because she is Hispanic. My wife did absolutely nothing wrong to deserve getting treated the way she did. Oct. 3rd at approximately 3 to 4:30pm she went to take an Amazon return. She was with our Autistic daughter and our other younger daughter and the return in her hand. Her cellphone lost the QR code for one second and the store manager Kimberly started rushing her and tried to humiliate her infront of the all the customers in line. She started rushing my wife, left her at the register just to yell out to all the customers, "If you have an Amazon return, have it ready," very loud trying to humiliate my wife. I was on the phone with my wife while all this happening. I told my wife to ask her, her name and she told my wife her name was Kimberly and yelled out at the end (THE STORE MANAGER).
I am sure this does not comply with company policy. If you are the store manager you are supposed to lead by example and she was next to at least 3 more cash register staff personnel.
This type of behavior needs to stop.

Back in the day when I wanted a pair of Levi's this is where I would come, and I would pay their extra price too,!!! they still have Levi's,plenty of them!!! Exactly double what I used to pay!!!And with today's prices on everything I walked the whole store even with their discounts (so called), their prices are high on everything!!!! for the same stuff you can get anywhere else for a whole lot less. The store itself is the same layout as it was 10 years ago to me this is an old outdated store that can use a remodel on the inside and the outside. I'm not a Kohl's fan never have been, and after today never will be. I will say this the restrooms were nice though. We all love to shop, but this is one store that I consistently bypass and never think about!!!! And on my way out if you were thinking about buying something there was only one register open with 10+ people waiting to check out. I know everybody in this town grew up shopping here it's almost like a landmark, and that's the only thing if you ask me that's keeping them in...
