My first experience at Loft in Georgetown was amazing! I had ordered over $400 in clothes online. I had to make some exchanges and the two associates (I really should have written down their names) were wonderful and super helpful! Which led me to spend another $100 in the store. I bought a plus size skirt online that the zipper malfunctioned. I went into the store today to do what I thought was a simple exchange. The woman that âhelpedâ me made me feel like I shouldnât even be asking for an exchange. She first said she âfixed it,â then I told her it has happened twice, this is why I am wanting to exchange the skirt. Then she proceeds to tell me that I am also past the 30 day return policy and that they donât return anything that is worn. (I was 2 weeks over the 30 days). Now I am left with a skirt with a malfunctioning zipper. I have shopped at different Loft stores for the past couple years and never once felt the way I felt today. I am in the business of customer service and today the employee and manager made it very clear that they do not want my business. I was going to browse around and see if I could buy additional pieces but I didnât. I understand policy and procedure but there are ways to deliver this information in a helpful non-derogatory way. The $40 pencil skirt that you were not willing to work with me on lost a...
Read moreVery limited selection of business casual clothing. The sales clerk was so rude & snotty to me. I'm the only customer in the store and she's just folding already folded sweaters the entire time. Whatever you do, don't ask her a question about size. LOL She'll act like she's too busy to help you. Actually she won't help you. I guess folding those sweaters are more important. Their idea of work clothing is $75 (on sale) for baggy sweat pants with pockets. LOL I could probably get that at Walmart. I really wish Georgetown had a nice store with good quality business casual clothing. I just can't wear sweat pants to work. Especially at that price! A couple of the sweaters were cute but not really professional looking. Especially with their limited supply of pants that are...
Read moreI haven't shopped Loft in a while but I'm so glad I stopped here! The customer service I received alone makes me want to come back! Claire, Megan, and Sarah were excellent, professional, and extremely helpful! I came in for a black top, essentially, something to wear for the weekend, and Claire gave me such a personal experience! She recommended some tops that I may like, based off of style and color, and I even inquired about jumpers which she pointed me to as well. Not only did she recommend clothing, following Covid19 precautions, I was allowed to try on clothes and got opinions from her and Sarah! They're even considerate of your budget! Got a jumper, a classy strap shirt, and a romper-jumper??, for just around $60! Hands down, best experience I've had in a clothing store in a while!...
