pOpshelf — Local services in Georgetown

I saw popshelf on Tik Tok (not this location) and wanted to check out the Valentine's Day decor. I searched Google maps and went on a field trip. Why did I not know about popshelf?! This location in Wolf Ranch is a little hidden, around the corner from Kohl's on the way out to the frontage road. The store is so cute and well stocked. The employees were super helpful. If you've never been to popshelf, it's like an upscale Five Below type store - home decor, seasonal, cleaning, make up, dishes, arts & crafts, snacks. Everything you didn't know you needed. They had some adorable clearance Christmas items (I just packed up Christmas, so I passed). I got the cutest little red glass gumball machine shaped jar and some Valentine's M&Ms for it. This location did not have the heart pillar candles I saw in the Tik Tok. I will definitely be coming back to see what Easter...

DISTURBED BY HOW THE STORE MANAGER WAS TALKING TO AN EMPLOYEE WHO WAS IN NEED OF HELP AT THE REGISTER.

The register was having a technical issue out of her control.

She was indirect with her help and IN FRONT ME she spoke to her in a very demeaning way. I almost confronted her abuse showing some kindness and respect towards her associate. Especially that she was doing her best to help me.

I feel very sad for this associate....

Went in to buy 2 gift cards. Supposedly they werent working right so the employee grabbed another gift card and I was on my way. Got home and I decided to check the receipt, the gift card numbers did not match. Went back and it was corrected at store. Could've been an honest mistake but it felt sketchy. The gift card scam is going around...
