My wife and I were visiting the area in our motor home when our deadbolt failed. I searched the internet and determined that my deadbolt was no longer manufactured and was an RV specialty item. I called another local locksmith and sent photos and they told me I would have to have my RV door drilled out to accept a new residential deadbolt. Not wanting to drill into my RV, I sought a second opinion with Knight Safe & Lock. The Knight Safe & Lock Locksmith arrived right on time and immediately recognized the old internal mechanisms as a clone of a brand name lock. He was able to quickly build a new key core for me from scratch--using a core from the new lock that still fit into my existing OEM RV internal deadbolt which still functioned normally. It was an engineering feat and yet it took him only about 3 minutes. This locksmith is legit and is a true expert craftsman. We had our house burglarized and they also stole the house keys. We were not aware that some deadbolts are not as strong as others. They kicked our back door in splitting the wood out.
