Kimball Coffee House IS the finest establishment in Gig Harbor to get coffee. It doesn't go unnoticed that as soon as you open the door, you are greeted by staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Growing up watching the show Friends, I've always yearned to enjoy coffee or tea in a warm environment where everyone knows your name. Somewhere, you can bring your long-time friends, meet new people, have business meetings, and a casual place to work or just enjoy a cup of coffee on your own. The coffee is amazing! I have often struggled with gut issues as well as being somewhat of a softie to caffeine consumption. I don't know what they put in their coffee (other than TLC), but I never have any issues. I even consistently order Americano's now! Everyone I have brought to try Kimball Coffeehouse falls in love with it. I haven't had any meals or pastries sold that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. I have a laundry list of great things to say about my favorite coffee house but I'll just say, if you haven't been there...you're missing out on something truly unique and special...
Read moreOn 5/16/24, I visited Kimball Coffeehouse in Gig Harbor, Washington. This coffeehouse has a great history, which I’ve included a link to in the comments. Kimball Coffeehouse has live music on the weekends. The evening I arrived, they were setting up for Open Mic Night. They roast their own coffee beans. They have an extensive menu that includes Breakfasts, Smoothies, Sandwiches, Flatbread Pizzas, Salads, Soups, Snacks, and Desserts.
I ordered a Spring coffee drink called Bees Knees, which is a Lavender & Honey Latte. The flavor combination was a bit too subtle for me, but it was good. Next time, I will try something else. The woman sitting next to me ordered a BLT, which looked excellent!
One of the things I really like about Kimball Coffeehouse is they seem to have a lot of regulars. Coffee shops like that are hard to find.
I look forward to visiting Kimball Coffeehouse the next time I’m in town.…

Read moreI scheduled a visit with Kimball Coffehouse to experience what others were saying and I wasn't at all disappointed. This was a great little location with AMAZING STAFF and good food. The breakfast burrito was good, though I would recommend offering a good salsa or something other than just a packet of hot sauce. I would leave 4.5 stars vs 5 due to the hot sauce and the length of wait for food (I counted the number of patrons in front of me to use as my measuring agent). However, the wait was pleasant with a warm and inviting atmosphere and after seeing how the staff hustled I decided to move that half star rating up vs down. (since there aren't half star selections available). If I was the owner, I would consider opening up an overflow diner close by to capture all the business from the raving patrons. Great job, I would go back, actually, I WILL go back! Next time,...
