Groove — Local services in Gilbert

This store was incredible! I was nervous gong into a store that sells adult toys and lingerie because I didn't know what to expect. The store itself was clean and organized (not sleazy, run down, or in a scary part of town!) and the staff where amazing! They where welcoming, available for any questions, and they didn't appear judgmental at all, while also not hovering. To a newbie, their selection of male and female toys, lingerie, etc was perfect! Their prices seemed fair to me, and they had a large range for any budget! As I checked out, a staff member went the extra mile to make sure a battery operated toy worked before I left. (I forgot the names of the staff there when I went in since I was so nervous oops. Both were ladies, one had rainbow nails and the other had purple hair in the Gilbert location! They were both awesome!) Purchases are also placed into discrete, plain bags so you didn't have to worry about being people knowing where you shopped! I am far from an expert on stores like this, but Groove was an amazing experience for me! *Tip for the un-experienced like me! Went in to get toy cleaner and lube. Completed my shopping then realised I forgot something while I was inside my car getting ready to leave. I go back in and grab an additional lube and a lady came from behind the register and walks up behind me and tells me I have to give her my purse. I tell her no this is all I need im going to the register right now. As I am at the register every single other women in the store has a purse larger then mine, so I tell the woman. "How are you going to come up to me and ask for my purse when if u walk around the store all the other women here have bags bigger than mine." The conversation ended with her telling me not to talk to her. The most disappointing part was this happened in front of the store manager Liz who just looked around like nothing was happening. My husband and I stopped by Groove last Sunday and had a fantastic shopping experience! This is a classy, chic store in a lovely little shopping plaza with kind and helpful staff, the perfect selection of merchandise and great prices.

The shop has wood floors and creative shelving with great lighting and a welcoming layout. A truly beautiful selection of lingerie is on the left, books and various sensual/play items are toward the back, and vibrators, pleasure devices, and bath/body/lubricant products are on the right. While other local stores may have more merchandise, 70% of what they carry is tacky, gimmicky, blister packed crap. Groove passed on the crap and has stocked their shelves with products that are worth buying; they also have unique items that can be difficult to find elsewhere. While this shop carries some of the nicest high end vibrators available, they also offer a selection of the best budget friendly options on the market.
