I went there last Friday 11-25-22, had the worst customer service experience ever in my life. I wanted to purchase some curtains. I failed to see the "cash only" sign after waiting in a long line. My items were calculated and rang up by the CSR, he told me I could use the ATM and pointed in the direction behind. I didn't want the surcharges from their machine or my bank so I chose to have a "one hour hold" on my items, the items rang up to be under $20. I went to my house as I live just 5 minutes away. When I returned, I was told I had to go to the back of the line, which by now was about 15 customers long, "those are the store rules" he stated. When I got up to a register again (after a long wait) it was with another CSR. I told her "I was just in line, he (other CSR) put my items (curtains) on hold. She rang up my items and said "Total is $20.47", I said "What? you must be joking, that was not the price he (other CSR) rang up before". She calculated them up again and said "He must have only rang up 2 items" I told her "Yes, the drapes are a pair, not separate, they were on one hanger". Apparently they had a price tag on each separate sheer. When I questioned the price and told her I only have $20 she accused me of "yelling" at her. I said "excuse me I am not yelling at you, Im trying to explain" she cut me off and said she would cancel the transaction if I continued. Another CSR came over and was asking "What's the problem", I explained what happened and asked if they could do a one time discount of the 0.47 cents, I continued with "If I have to leave and get more money, will I have to start in line again?" she looked at me and sneered, shaking her head as if I were a common criminal trying to steal something. I again reasoned with the CSR and told her I didn't make the calculation mistake, I don't have time to get back in line if I went out to my car to find some change. She did agree to wait for me to find more money. I returned with a dollar, she completed the transaction, put her hand out with the 0.53 cents change to me and I said "Keep it!, for the next person you treat badly who needs a break". I won't shop at that...
Read moreThis is my favorite thrift store, go to place. Yes, it has NO fitting rooms and you have to get creative, but the prices are so much lower than Goodwill who's prices are WAY too high. I am a very choosy shopper and like things that look new, have good name brands and have quality fabrics. Because it's such a large store and there are so many clothes, you have more selection in each department than other stores, where if you are looking for a specific item, such as a warm cardigan, you will have many, many choices versus a small section. They do not organize by size, they organize by color. It would be more convenient if they did, but when you shop there and see how much quantity of items the employees are constantly putting out you will see that it would not be possible to keep up that level of organization, there is just too many items coming and going, and quickly I have found DKNY cardigans in great condition, Prada handbags as well as many name brand handbags, Dankso shoes and other seriously exciting great deals for much less than Goodwill prices. Sometimes I come here every week. Don't come on Wednesdays unless you are a senior or bring one, it's senior discount day and there are busloads, pushy and rude and they treat you like you don't belong there if you aren't over 55. Saturday morning is crowded as well since all the colored tags in the store are 50% off except the one incoming color of the day. But I've found that things get picked over quickly so by Saturday afternoon it's not worth it. They accept CASH only, have an ATM, and hold things for one hour only. The customer service is not the greatest, but having been there often I find the regular ladies who work there sweet and friendly in...
Read moreI go thrift storing because I believe in less waste and to try and do my share to save our planet. I have gone to Red White and Blue in the past with my boyfriend (who will never go again) and had the same disrespectful treatment from the employees as I had today. It was like something out of a freak show; the employees acted like we were inconveniencing them by being there; rolling their eyes and talking among their selves while people waited in line, making customers wait. I looked on their web site to see what kind on charitable conurbations they do to help the community and I see nothing? I went there today to just give it one more shot and "man" I was so mad when I left. for one thing the same older lady was there and just as mean and angry as last time, but this time while I was shopping I ask her for help and she looked at me and rolled her and walked away. Another thing about this store (and no other store I have been in) is you are supposed to know to take your things off hangers before checking out and if not, you get treated like an idiot. Is this place for real? every person working in there looked like this job was a death sentence and they were there doing us a favor. I have to say this place wins hands down on “the worse costumer service. I have never witnessed anything like this before; where are the owners? do they ever clean up in there? I have been a district manager for Papa Murphy’s corporate office in the past for over 11 years, now college student working on Masters degree. if you want a good friendly retail store go anywhere else but here. I have put my experience at this place and my complaints on 3 of my social media sites letting people know about this dirty little whole...
