I used Green Branch Florist for my wedding in July. I got my bouquet, boutonnieres for the men and corsages for the women. The boutonnieres and corsages were great, just like I wanted them to be. But I was extremely disappointed in my bouquet. When I saw it on my wedding day I thought it looked a little goofy but was so preoccupied with everything else going on I didn't think much of it. I just received my wedding pictures this weekend and my bouquet looks terrible in the pictures. I had a bouquet of white lilies, but only maybe a third of them were open so my bouquet looks like a couple white lilies and a bunch of bananas. My husband and I now call it my "banana bouquet". Ha. Good thing we are easy going and can laugh about it, but honestly I look at my pictures and it's all I notice now. And my bouquet is in ALL my pictures. I live in Glen Ellyn and always support local business, especially family owned, but I wouldn't recommend Green Branch to someone looking for...
Read moreIf I could rate this place a negative 10 I would. I live in Glen Ellyn and when my dad passed away in June I could have gone anywhere or even purchased flowers online for his memorial. But wanted to stay in GE and use The Green Branch. I went into the shop on July 17 and placed my order for delivery date of Aug 8, my dad’s Celebration of Life memorial (by the way spending close to $400). Skip to yesterday Aug 8. Guess what no flowers, no phone call, nothing. When I get to the church an hour before the start of the memorial I find out no flowers. I call 10, yes ten times and calls go to voice mail. I then leave the church, drive to flower shop to read a note on the door that shop is “Closed for Vacation” from 8/3 until 8/17. UNREAL!!! Why would they accept my order if they were planning to be on vacation!! So guess what no flowers at my dad’s memorial. I have left 4 messages on their voice mail since then and no response. DO NOT USE THIS...
Read moreI generally use a florist a few towns away but decided to try someone local for my daughters prom. We called three weeks ahead for a boutonnière, Gave the date and was told what time we could pick it up. When my daughter arrived to pick up the flower she was told the order was lost. Very unapologetic. Then she was asked to pay the full price for the flower and told she should leave and they will text her when it’s done- they said no longer than 30 minutes. It was 45 minutes later, there was no call, no text so she went back and it was finally done. Totally understand accidents/mistakes happen but it was not our mistake. It was entirely their mistake and they did nothing to attempt to rectify the situation nor did they respect her time. I will not go...
