Warhammer — Local services in Glendale

Today was the first time I’ve ever visited a miniature war gaming location. I’ve decided to get involved in miniature painting for the upcoming SPQR battles and bought tons of unpainted miniatures. Knowing absolutely zero about it led me to the store here in Glendale.

I don’t know the manager’s name but his attitude and assistance were straight otherworldly. He took all the time in the world to explain every thing I needed to know before actually painting. Went over all the basics elements and then offered me an opportunity to learn by actually doing. I painted my first miniature - well partially, but still. Walked out of the store with everything I needed.

Other guys inside the store - whether staff or just gamers - we all friendly and helpful. I simply loved the atmosphere and comraderie. I am far more into historical wargaming rather than warhammer, but anyone who lives in the area and wants to know about miniatures or painting - you’ve got a gem right here in Glendale. You won’t regret making a visit even if you aren’t a fan of wargaming

Wanted to hop into Warhammer for the first time after a long time thinking about it. Finally I took the plunge and went down to the Warhammer store. The store itself was a very inviting place and many people were playing the game of Warhammer and even doing some painting. After some looking around at the vast selection on offer my wife and I found what we were looking for and with some very helpful advice from Payton the manager (who not only took the time to guide us through what we needed and didn't, he was just an all around nice guy). We were on our way. I am now proud to say I am a happy Warhammer 40k owner. I would very highly recommend this store to anybody looking to take the plunge into the hobby. Don't be shy. And once again a massive thank you to Payton. You really made my day and I'll be back to the store to pick up some more...

The employees at this Games Workshop are fantastic. I can not say enough good things about them. They are inviting, informative, friendly and extremely helpful. I have never gone into a Games Workshop where they are so eager to help you learn how to paint or get involved in the community. They went above and beyond to make us feel like we were locals. If we were to move to Cali, one of the reasons would be because of this Games Workshop.
