Please do not ever come to this Salon. Rita burned my hair with her “organic perm” on November 2024, and my hair has not been the same since. Not only is it damaged and falling out, the curl pattern is inconsistent and horrible. I’ve showed other perm specialists and they are shocked at my results. Since the day I left Rita’s salon I’ve been absolutely depressed with my hair, and she was not even courteous enough to return my money. In the photos you can see she curled my roots and left the rest of my hair straight because she did not evenly distribute the hair perm solution. As well as I lost a lot of hair at the scalp from her irresponsible technique. Please don’t trust her paid reviews and stay far away from this irresponsible and inexperienced stylist.

Your response is a blatant attempt to rewrite reality, and it’s embarrassing how poorly thought out your lies are.

First of all, I have screenshots showing I contacted you the very same night of my appointment, and repeatedly in the following days, weeks, and months. I cried on your own chat system about how devastated I was. To sit here and claim I only contacted you once about styling tips is not just false — it’s manipulative. I have receipts. And if necessary, I’ll post them publicly.

Second, your statement about me posting “positive feedback on social media” is laughable. I do not have social media. You invented a complete fiction to discredit me because you have no actual defense for the damage you caused. If you’re willing to lie about something so easily disprovable, it only confirms how little integrity you have.

Third, your claim that “organic perms have no chemicals” is a flat-out lie. Every licensed professional knows that all perms — organic or not — involve chemical processing. I even have screenshots from our own conversations acknowledging chemical effects. You’re either lying to your clients or dangerously uninformed about the services you’re offering.

Fourth, your attempt to blame my pre-existing hair texture is disgusting. Yes, I mentioned mild thinning at the crown — but after your perm, I experienced massive hair loss, damage to my scalp, and irreversible harm that I never had before. You failed to assess whether my hair could even tolerate a perm safely, and you proceeded anyway — recklessly and negligently.

Lastly, you accuse me of missing a follow-up — but you fail to mention that after your gaslighting, dishonesty, and refusal to take responsibility, I had no reason to trust you touching my hair again.

Your entire response reads like a desperate attempt to cover your tracks, but the facts — and my documented evidence — speak louder than your fabrications. If you handle your mistakes this dishonestly and try to gaslight your clients into silence, you should not be operating at all.

I had a horrible experience here. Went in for color, highlights and cut. Showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted. The color, instead of dark brown with platinum highlights, came out orange with yellow highlights. I almost cried when I saw it. She was going to have me come back later in the week to fix it but I told her I wasn’t going to work looking like a traffic light and I insisted she fix it right then and there. The second time around she did what I actually wanted, instead of what she thought I should have, but by then she couldn’t do the partial highlights I had asked for and just ended up foiling some of the previous ones. But the cut... it’s awful. Doesn’t look a thing like the picture. Instead of subtle framing layers, she cut two distinct layers and it looks like I have a wig on top of my haircut. She used the blunt scissors so the ends of the layers are now frayed and stick out. On top of that, she told me at the beginning she would be giving me a nice conditioning treatment for first clients, but didn’t mention that she was charging me an extra $35 for it. I went in at 4PM and left at 9PM…. 5 hours of my life I will never get back. Because of how long it took, my phone battery died, so she refused to give the 20% coupon listed on her website unless I could pull it up on a phone . She was also going to charge me for the full highlights (I asked for partial, she didn’t listen) as well as the overall color, until I told her I wasn’t paying for her to fix her own mistake. All in all, $300 and 5 hours later, I have a botched haircut and a color I didn’t ask for. I made an appointment with a reputable salon to fix this mess. On top of that, because she just wouldn’t stop blabbing the ENTIRE time, sounding like a teenager with “like” and “as if” I left with a huge headache. If you value your hair and time, stay far,...

Such a disappointment! $461 later.... Because of the great reviews, I didn't question the individual charges. I went to have my hair highlighted & cut. Rita told me I should cover the gray, so she colored as well. Also stated that my hair was dry & I could use a moisture mask. $135? for Highlights $125 for Color $45 for Moisture Mask $60 for cut & light blow dry (not styled) $77 for Shampoo & Conditioner she recommended. Still doesn't add up to $461, but maybe taxes? (tipped separately) I was horrified! I thought she would combine the highlights & color since the color only took a few minutes more since I was already in foils. Came home & found products cheaper by 25% online, so called & asked to return shampoo & conditioner. Was told no problem. Because I was sick, I didn't get around to returning for 9 days---she let me know THEN that she could only credit me back if returned in 7 days (didn't tell me this before) & would have to give me store credit. Nope---not doing that. She is nice, but she is very sure she is right. Told me my shampoo was drying and to quit using (I got this from a Master Stylist in a 5 Star location in Scottsdale).
