Been going here for years. Honestly they haven’t always been the nicest people but the food is good. My mom ordered a bunch of bagels to be picked up 12/23. My aunt who is currently going through chemo was admitted into the hospital and my mom forgot to pick the bagels up. She already paid. When she called to let them know she forgot and they will pick them up on 12/24 the male who works there and he’s always there told her how she has been sitting there with the bagels all day even though this was during open hours. He continued to rant on to her about it and my mom explained my aunt is in the hospital and my mom was there with her. He didn’t care and continued to be extremely rude. Mind you, this is during the HOLIDAY season. My husband went to pick up the bagels the next day and he made a comment to my husband again!!!! About not picking the bagels up on time and my husband was extremely frustrated and told them about my aunt and he didn’t care and was making faces. The women there were also making faces towards my husband. At the end of the day, we aren’t worried about bagels and worried about our family member suffering in the hospital during Christmas. They don’t care. The bagels were already paid for, it didn’t effect them whatsoever. Time to learn some compassion. Take your money and go to...
Read moreI've been coming here for 12 years. I've always loved this place. Great food, and great employees, Unfortunately, over the past year or so, there have been some issues that have come to light. The first of which, albeit understandable given the supply chain issues, would be the prices. Prices have been increased by approx. $1.00 - $1.50 for their most popular breakfast sandwiches. I just find it hard to justify paying $7.00 for a bagel, one egg, slice of cheese, and 2 slices of lunch meat/bacon/sausage patty. Additionally, and arguably my biggest gripe with this location, has to do with the employees. I'm not sure what the culture is amongst employees, but from this customer's perspective, it appears to be a bit volatile. Multiple times I've witnessed employees arguing with each other. Recently, I mentioned to one of the veteran employees of this location that my order had been prepared incorrectly. Her immediate response was, "No, you said that you wanted this." That really was the last straw for me. While there is certainly a possibility that I misspoke, her response was hostile and absolutely not one that should be said to any customer. Regretfully, I will be driving to the Happy Valley location,...
Read moreI’m genuinely confused by any positive reviews and can only assume people lost their tastebuds from Covid otherwise they have been starved and would eat anything. No other explanation.
I’m from NY and NJ and these are Not bagels. These are inedible gross mounds wheat in the shape of a bagel but they’re not bagels.
These egg and cheese bagel was microwaved which made the bagel soggy. These egg bagel had nothing on it like butter and the egg wasn’t seasoned or salted so it was just rubbery with no taste or proper texture and was extremely bland. So much so that I had to put it in the air fryer, add salt and butter to make it edible.
The everything bagel had something wrong with it as it tasted sweet and their everything seasoning wasn’t a good blend and only tasted like garlic. This “bagel” was so bad that I had to throw it away. Do not get the everything bagel. Another item they don’t know how to make.
Don’t recommend anything except the hash browns which were surprisingly delicious.
I’m saddened that people who aren’t from the northeast actually think these bagels are what bagels are supposed to taste like. They’re not. Bagels come from my ancestors and to ruin them like this...
