Garden Inn & Suites Glendora — Hotel in Glendora

Disclaimer: this review is entirely based on the atrociously poor customer service experience from the hotel manager, who herself warrants zero stars if possible. After I made a reservation at this hotel for a family member, Expedia (to their credit, they owned up to their mistake) incorrectly listed my name under the reservation, and the hotel manager bluntly insisted that I call Expedia to fix the issues and would not assist my family. Fine, reasonable, so I ask her if it's possible to get my family checked in or even accommodated for in a seating area while I get it sorted out, but she not only flat out rejected my request but also expressed disgust and unconcern with our dilemma. I barely had time to voice my displeasure when she immediately snapped, talked over me, and asserted that she did not need our business. Mind you, my family members had just completed a long flight and were just standing to the side silently, as their English abilities are somewhat lacking. She ordered them to leave as I was on the phone with Expedia. Considering I've had not-so-pleasant customer service encounters with Delta, Wells Fargo, and Verizon, this is somehow the worst I have ever experienced. DO NOT BOOK HERE! this place looks great on the outside but inside was extremely disgusting BEWARE. First off, I am the type of person that books after reading reviews. I was excited to book here because I liked these reviews and the price seemed good. Now I believe they make their own reviews. Checking in we did not notice that half the room wasnt clean.Pulling back the blankets there was thick chuncks of white stuff in the sheets and blackets towards the foot of the bed. Like they trying to hide it, and what looks like blood smeared on the front door. After completely scanning the room i noticed how dirty the room really was. I was so upset i called the manager. SO he sent down a woman and the house keeper who cleaned the room before our check in. She asked the house keeper in front of us if she changed the bed sheets before making the bed and the house keeper shockingly said NO she forgot! How do you forget to change bed sheets? So the managers response to me was "dont worry its not vomit or anything like that" . Absolutely...

I’ve stayed here on two separate occasions now. The rooms are huge and spacious. There is a tiny “kitchen” area with a microwave, refrigerator, and sink that’s separate from the bathroom area. I made a few meals in my room and having that separate area was really helpful and handy. There are plenty of parking spaces, even some in the back of the hotel which seems safe and private. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning works well. The person at the front desk was helpful and to the point but not very welcoming or friendly. The refrigerator in my room wasn’t working and he switched it out within 10 minutes for a new one, so the service is very prompt. The location is decent. There are some restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance or a short drive. Especially for the price, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay...
