I will never shop at this store again! First of all, they are over priced. To add insult to injury, they do not stand behind the products they carry. I purchased some ph drops at the store. I went home and put them in some water. Prior to using the drops, I tested the water ph levels. After using the drops, I tested the watr again and there was NO change. The next day I attempted to return the drops and was told that they do not accept returns on open items. Even after I explained the reason for the return, the cashier told me they could not accept the items back and I should call the next day and speak to the manager. The next day I called and asked for the manager and explained why. The cashier put me on hold and then came back telling me that the manager had asked him to "field" the call. When I explained to him how I had tested the drops, he proceeded to inform me that the ph strips (which were also purchased at their store), are for testing on your body, not water. I then proceeded to tell him that I had also used the strips to test water treated with baking soda and they worked just fine. There was a change in ph levels. He had no answer for this other than that it was their store policy not to accept opened items for return. I persisted because I should not be held responsible for an item that does not perform as advertised. He then informed me that I would need to speak to the owner of the store, who, of course, wasn't there at the moment. He took my name and number and said he would have the owner call me back. That was over a week ago and I have yet to hear back from anyone from the store. I spent $15 for the ph drops, but I spend well over $2k per year in the store. They would prefer to keep my $15 for a flawed product than to make thousands from me through out the course of the year. Makes sense. So, due to "store policy" and ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE customer service, I will no longer be patronizing this store. I would rather have the inconvenience of going somewhere else than to shop at this store, which is right around the corner from my house. I refuse to give my money to an establishment that does not value...

Let me start off by saying that this particular health shop has a wonderful selection of supplements herbs; healing herbs; natural herbs, their variety is wonderful! BUT the customer service is a little less to be desired.As a woman of color, I have felt that the young people that work in this establishment are rude, unfriendly, unwilling to help, cold in their speech and attitudes and even though the shop has been around for decades the people that they hire doesn't represent the years of dedication and service to the public in my opinion. The owner should come back and really see how the customers are being treated, all customers black white and in between

This is not the first time I have been there but this is surely my last. I will never support this place again and I will tell all my associates,friends,family,church members etc. about this unfriendly customer service and by the way its very obvious when you follow people in the store)-: Black people are not the only people that steal. Sincerely your black angry...

It was a convenient place to get my herbs tea, but they make me feel so uncomfortable 2 mins in the store. It’s upsetting I go straight to the loose herbs and I’m watched with 16 eyes (exaggeration, but true). I travel to Penn Herb and stock up on my tea. They may seem nice but being stereotype is another story. I can’t ignore it anymore. I’m literally in there just to get my tea and out the door. If they have a big problem with theft, I’m sorry, but that’s not my problem. I just don’t appreciate being watched, the way they do it. I’m serious guys they will shadow you specially if you’re black. SMH shame they won’t get my money anymore! I know we live in a time where people are ruining it for others who are honest.
