DO NOT GO HERE!! about a month ago i got my conch and my tragus pierced here. not only was it a very unfriendly environment but after i had the piercing something didn't feel right. my tragus felt fine but my conch wasn't like any experience my friends who have had theirs pierced had. i couldn't even move because i was in so much pain i felt paralyzed, and i have a pretty good pain tolerance i have 12 other piercings rather than the 2 i got here. i cleaned it twice a day every day as you are supposed to and made sure to take perfect care of it. still, both my tragus and conch began to form weird bumps and get really swollen and were extremely uncomfortable. i didn't think much of it until i went to get my nose piercing adjusted at a much more reliable shop. i showed her my conch and tragus and explained the pain i had been in. the piercer at this shop was completely shocked because everything in my piercings were wrong. first of all, it was externally threaded jewelry which is NOT something you ever want to put in your body. it was also just plain surgical steel which isn't meant to be pierced with. you always want to make sure your piercings are both internally threaded and implant grade but i hadn't known to ask that when i originally got these done here. the other problem with the earrings was that they used a curved barbell for both my conch and my tragus. tragus piercings are supposed to be straight and have a flat back, not a ball back like i had. conch piercings should never have a barbell, they should also be straight. the conch was also pierced at a weird angle causing the back end to be against my head where it shouldn't be. the bad quality earrings and the incorrect type of earring had caused both of these piercings to get seriously infected even when they were being taken care of perfectly. i had already paid $96 to get them done in the first place but i had to pay another $90 to have them fixed and replaced with better jewelry from a much better shop. this place is a disappointment don't waste your time...
Read moreI scheduled a piercing from Lex an apprentice on the 31st. I was suppose to get a daith, and I have had piercings done by apprentances before so i Know the risks involved, and that this is practice for them. I know that they won’t be perfect, and it might not go as smoothly as a professional would, but the lack of customer care was my main issue in this experience. When i walked in She did not seem prepared for this appointment when we have spoken for a week about it. I came in sat down. annd she couldn’t even do the dots on my ear. and She asked Gianna, the person supervising everything she needed to while i was sitting there, such as where the dots go, do i lay down, how does she pierce it, how much skin to pull. I was scared because it felt as thought she didn’t prepare what so ever, and i was the amazon piercing dummy. She messed up the first one. so they had her push it thru again and messed it up a second time leaving the needle in my ear while i’m in pain. When Gianna was supervising, she should have taken over after the first mess up.I was starting to feel sick, and cry when they pushed it in a second time, and no one seemed to care. Gianna then took it out, and said “i love apprentenace piercings. Good news no scar tissue. bad news no piercing” and walked out of the room as i was pale from her wiggling the needle in my ear, and she did not once apologize or ask me if i needed anything. Lex was night enough at the end to offer a gatorade and said sorry, but it felt so unprofessional, and i did not feel safe with either one of those piercers. The supervisor piercer should have acted better, and have handled this situation better. I then left with nothing, and absolutely was so awkward when gianna didn’t say a word either. I will not be coming back, and i hope ur apprentices practice for now on at least a little before...
Read moreUpon arriving to this highly recommended tattoo shop with my daughter to get a piercing- a woman was out front, smoking and screaming at someone erratically on the phone so loudly that we could hear while we were still in the car waiting to get out. The woman was dressed less than professional (her entire stomach and chest was out, butt cheeks were hanging out of her shorts and in open toed shoes) I thought she was a customer getting tattooed turns out she would be the piercer, Lex who would pierce my daughter's nose. She didn't acknowledge or apologize for how she acted out front in front of paying customers or for how she dressed which tattoo shop or not I consider extremely inappropriate. She seemed else where in thoughts and gave quick swift attitude when my daughter asked about aftercare and how long until she can change her jewelry. It was a very rushed service and at first she forgot to put on gloves but corrected herself as she was rushing through the procedure. I understand that everyone is entitled to having bad days but this was just unacceptable. We were even considering getting another hole pierced in my daughter's ears but decided to hold off due to the tension in the room. My daughter was left disappointed that her first real piercing experience wasn't what she thought it would be like. As far as her piercing we feel as though the placement wasn't as symmetrical as planned either. For a $70 piercing- the shop should have professional standards and address the piercer's work ethic. If not the price certainly needs to be adjusted for this kind of service. Place was over all aesthetically cute and...
