Im a receptionist in a healthcare center for elderly people who often are in long term care or are in need of memory care. A PATIENT who is a regular customer at this shop didn’t have enough to tip the driver. This driver not only began to get very rude once I told her that the resident paid with a coupon that was cleared over the phone with the cashier in the shop, she began to to get aggressive and moody when I explained that the resident literally gave her everything they could. When my coworker heard the deliver lady begin to become hysterical over the tip money the driver just abruptly stopped talking and almost walked INTO the door…while it was still closed. While she was actually walking THROUGH the door she started screaming saying “Something’s going on…I’m going to call her”. I never encountered anyone as entitled and just bluntly arrogant as that delivery driver at this job. I genuinely hope this place can find better people to deliver because to try to coerce an elderly patient out of literally ALL they have left being FULLY AWARE that they are a regular customer and a patient is beyond low and beyond sick. Thank God, she didn’t call the resident back like she said she would because that would've been harassment. Fortunately, everything that took place today is on camera and the nursing supervisor was informed of the manic behaviors that this woman displayed today. Although the food is amazing, they never get my order right. Yes, I still order from there out of convenience (right across the street from me). One time I ordered a turkey hoagie w/ LTO and got a tuna sandwich with just tuna, mayo, and celery. (Huh?) Next time I ordered a roast beef hoagie with mayo, LTO, no oil. I ended up getting a roast beef hoagie with no mayo, but only oil, and they totally did not put on any LTO just like the time before. Every order you place there you have to repeat twice, and then ask them to re-read the order. The delivery driver one time showed up coughing and sneezing with a runny nose all over the food. That took off one star automatically for me. Don't let your employees work sick... EVER. He was handling the food and may have even prepared it for all I know. Also, when you go in there you will see sometimes they touch the food then touch the money and then touch the food again.. without changing gloves. Unsanitary. Yes I'll keep ordering there because it's the only place around here. But that doesn't mean it's sanitary. I'll just have to take my chances getting sick. Best food I ever had , quick delivery , and the delivery driver lady was very professional and she got us our food here very fast , we appreciated her coming out this way here our facility me and my friend work at a rehabilitation center for disabled seniors ,and we were tired of fast food - we read the reviews and figured that we give this place A try , so ordered the chicken Marsala and chicken parmigiana along with stuffed eggplant for another coworker.
