I usually have no problems at this Popeyes but whatever manager you guys had working july 20th @ 9:29pm needs to either be asked to step down as a manager or retrained correctly because she is very rude and she purposely messed up my order . I ordered a 3 pc spicy chicken meal with red beans and rice and a side of jalepenos and hot sauce . When I got to the 2nd window I apologized because my phone had recently died and was just turning back on and asked her could she please just add 2 pcs of chicken and a side of mash because I had a coupon for the $11.99 2 can dine deal. She says no and gives me attitude as she tells me I would have to get out of line to go all the way to the end . I asked to speak with a manager and she was so proud to say she was the manager so I continued to ask what would be the issue with adding 2 more pieces of spicy chicken to my box and an already made mash to my bag and she told me she needed to “scan” my code and basically trying to say anything to not do it but being as though I come here often I corrected her and told her it was a scannable coupon it was a code that she had to type in at the 2nd window ANYWAY. She gave me this nasty look and agreed to do it and I made sure to thank her (be the bigger person lol) while reminding her that I wanted SPICY CHICKEN, still with my hot sauce and my jalepenos. She said okay pull up and slammed the window . A couple minutes later a man comes out and gives me my food and when I pull off and check my items not only was there no type of hot sauce or sauce in general in the bag , she had given me original chicken & also did not give me the jalepeno that I ordered . I didn’t even eat the food at this point because I am the few people that DONT like the original Popeyes chicken, I like my chicken spicy and what I ordered since literally I was craving it . Her behavior was very disrespectful & I’m even more mad that she played with my food like that . She’s the African manager that was working night shift on July 20th. She really needs to be spoken too cause not everybody is going to be so nice to just leave a review knowing that not only were you rude you went out your way to be vindictive with MY FOOD, that I PAID for. Read moreI went to the drive through line to order a three-piece combo with a large sweet tea drink. When I get to the window, I am told that my bill is $14.60. I paid it and the money was immediately debited from my account. I leave and found out that I had one piece of chicken and one biscuit --plus my small drink. I go back and the manager said I didn't pay for the combo--though the monies were taken out of my Wells Fargo account. By now, I am trying to convince him something is wrong. It's on my mobile statement. The money is gone. But he kept refusing to look at my phone. I paid for three transactions --when I paid for everything the first time. This man treated me like I was trash, refused to give me a refund, and made me start cursing. SMH He never agreed to investigate the matter and stayed on how I disrespected him because I snatched my debit card and bag. How would you feel, Sir? I will be writing every agency I can. Something is going on at this location. Corporate must look into the business ethics at this Clementon location. You can't take people's money. This was a horrible and unnecessary situation. Be warned. Go elsewhere. It's a scam.
No one should have to experience what I experienced at this location. To refuse to review your errors and to repeatedly talk down to a customer who paid three bills for the same three pieces of chicken is outrageous. My biggest regret is allowing that man to take me to a place I where I raised my voice and used words I don't use. Lord Jesus, forgive me. You never know what someone is going through. Please be professional. If you knew the bad news I had just received, you would understand how getting something to eat and drink was necessary--but this location turned it into the most horrible transaction and made a challenging day much worse. Read moreSaif the manager was rude and sublimely racist. After ordering my food, I noticed that it was room temperature and not fresh. I then proceeded to walk into the restaurant to share that the order was not at the proper temperature and was abruptly told that I was wasteful and if I wanted specific chicken (hot or fresh) I should have come inside. Of course this was shocking and I asked the manager (Saif) if it mattered if I came through the drive thru or walking into restaurant when wanting to receive fresh and hot chicken. He then said “I deal with you people all the time”! At first I thought “you people” may have meant that he thought he may have seen me before, but I had not been to this local Popeyes in about three years ( as I had moved about 7 miles away and another location was closer). I then realized that he meant people of color and was implying that he must encounter customers of color who may not have been satisfied with his customer service and he chose to blankety treat me based upon racist views rather than addressing me as a paying customer. After sharing my concerns Saif stormed to the register and refunded me ( note that I never requested a refund). I shared that all I wanted was fresh Chicken and not a refund, he said “we are not making anymore” and I followed up by stating that it was 5:45 pm and you are scheduled to close at 11:00 pm how could that be?
