Despite 3 1/2 MONTHS of trying to straighten the health care coverage, mandated by law, I still am not covered. I have done hard copy mail correspondence. I have done MY part electronically. I have gone IN PERSON & was ASSURED that I was covered. ELEVEN TIMES IN PERSON. Only be told that I have to call this one & that one & this one again & THAT one again.
I have a PMH of petite mal seizures & atrial fibrillation, hospitalized THREE times for it AFTER I was initially told that I was "all set". Know how much that costs?
Anyway, I went down to Walgreen's in Gloucester to pick up my prescriptions the other night. I was refused, not by the staff, but by the Godless Entity known as MassHealth. Again. I went over to the local office for the ELEVENTH time, was told that I was "all set" AGAIN only to find out that that was NOT the case. I was refused AGAIN.
I was pretty hot, trying to keep a lid on my anger. I made myself clear to the staff, and the young lady waiting on me did the best that she could, and eventually someone who I assume was in charge of things came over and spent a solid 15 minutes trying to sort things out for me. This, while other people getting waited on were busy blowing their own stacks at the counter help for their own reasons (one elderly woman was venting her frustration with her doctor's office at your staff).
I asked Mike (Andioletti? spelling?) if he'd prefer that I stepped aside being that my issue was NOT with the pharmacy, and he was adamant that I stay right there while he did the best that he could for me. Not only did he manage to correct some information that MassHealth screwed up (despite the TWO DOZEN times I dealt with them & had to keep re-verifying my contact info), but he filled my much needed medication, enough to get me through for the time being. All the while the counterpeople were really getting it from others.
The whole crew down there should get Purple Hearts. Dealing with people who aren't in their best spirits & vent their frustrations at those who are there to truly help. First class...
Read moreworst pharmacy ever. 2 days ago I received a call telling that my prescription is ready to be picked up. I went today to pick it up and they couldn't find the order on their system. the person was taking my information asked to see on my phone the phone call received from the pharmacy just to make sure I am not telling her a lie( which is so insane). she said it will be ready in 10 mins. I returned after 20 mins and received 2 items out of 4. at that point I explained what has happened. no one showed any care or courtesy so my only option was to ask to pick up the 2 items that were ready and cancel the other 2 since i will be directing my business somewhere else. then I had to go through the hassle again of calling the doctor's automated system to get hold of somebody to explain the situation to them. and now I must wait with no medication until I hear back from my doctor, while all that hassle could've been saved if they cared enough to do their job.TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!! WORST PLACE EVER...
Read moreCreepy parking attendant chased my friend and I down the sidewalk telling me to move my car. He had nothing identifying him as the parking attendant, he was wearing jeans and a tshirt. Then he puts a notice on my car saying it is private parking for customers only. We DID buy something even before he approached us. He stood watching us as we went back to my car and left. The lot is NOT posted as private parking only or for customers only. I assumed he stalks people who enter the lot and tries to get their attention by saying it is private parking. I have reported this to...
