I love the variety of goods and discounted pricing. However, I do feel the team at the Goleta Location lack kind customer service. They often walk by guests without greeting them, and while stocking they are blocking the walkways and not giving acknowledment or right of way to guests. Shopping carts were completely out around 1pm on a Wednesday afternoon, which made shopping difficult for a few customers.

I love this store. They recently opened the Santa Barbara branch and I am delighted they are around here. If you are meticulous, you can find good furniture with a good price in the store. I also really like the food section. They have some exotic stuff that you will not find elsewhere, say caperberry.

I love the color themed aisles, this time in yellow! Also the pet toy assortment. Favorite is this orange-yellow treat dispensing ball (GET ONE!) for hours of fun. My all round go-to store for stationary supplies, and every Home Goods has a different set of choices.

Well this is certainly my favorite store! I am soooooooooooooooooooo happy we finally got a HomeGoods in Goleta!!! Wahoo!! I love the products, the variety, and most of the time the people. I've run into one or two who were on their phones instead of working, but sadly you'll find that everywhere these days.

I really appreciate how hard-working the managers are. I don't know their names, but I see how hard they are working and wanted to mention it here. The cashiers are really friendly and always pack my fragile items well. They are never in too much of a hurry and that's a good thing.

I've been to other HomeGoods and they are in a hurry to "get it over with" and that's not what your customers want. I want your full attention while I'm about to give you my money. Don't look around. Don't look at your phone. Don't even look at the line. I was just there, and now I'm in front of you. Look at me, look at the item in your hand, and look at the way you're wrapping my fragile item.

There is not one thing you can do to make the people in the line disappear. If you hurry, you might scratch or chip the item in your hand. Then you'll have to deal with me: an angry customer who wants the manager because you damaged my product because you were preoccupied! The hurrier you go the behinder you get. Case in point: A cashier in another store broke a rare item because she was looking at something else while packing my item. I was NOT a happy camper! It was a Rae Dunn mug that had "HERO" on the front with a HEART as the mug topper. Very rare, very hard to find, never seen it in person before that day and I've never seen it since. Soooooooo not OK.

So, to be clear HomeGoods of Goleta, keep doing what you're doing! Keep those shelves stocked, keep those smiling faces at the front, keep asking people if they've found what they came for, and say thank you to the managers who are always working super hard to run that...

Debbie was honestly the worst cashier I’ve dealt with. I went in to return a couple of things and clearly asked for store credit because I didn’t want the refund going back to my original payment method. I was planning to spend that money right away on other stuff. But nope—she ignored what I said and didn’t give me a gift card. She acted like she couldn’t be bothered and came off super arrogant and lazy. It was obvious she just didn’t want to deal with the extra steps. Seriously disappointing. Honestly, HomeGoods needs to get rid of lazy employees like her—people who can’t be bothered to do their job properly shouldn’t be working...
