Produce(not always fresh) and deli meats are much cheaper than most supermarket. Seafood and meats are also cheap but sometimes they don't look fresh. As for other products like cereal, laundry detergent and so on they are about the same price or more than Winn-Dixie or Publix, You just have to compare prices. I buy some of my groceries(sale items) here and the rest at another supermarket nearby. The parking is horrible, not only that there's never nearby parking they are too small for SUV or larger cars; some forks take up two parking spaces. I park within the line and barely have room to take out my baby out of the car seat(and no I'm not big bone). My brand new car have gotten many dents due to people hitting it with their doors. So now I parked nearby the beauty store to avoid my car getting more dents. The cashier talk too much within them self which slows down the line. Most of the deli ladies sometimes talk too much and don't call out the numbers loud enough, you have to be close to hear them. Their shopping carts are old and beat up most have wobbly wheels. All and all I still...
Read moreThis location and others serve have their target audiences, besides, their primary purpose is to cater to fixed and no income customers. So, if you find yourself into a financial jam, and have no other choice but to shop at President Supermarket, just don't let anyone that you know see you coming out of one of them, because the stores are like shopping in the back waters of a third world Latin country. That said, perishables like fruits and vegetables can look and feel like they have been kicked straight from farm to stores. What I am saying is that, expect products that supermarkets like #Publix would consider discards, again, at no time did @PresidentSupermarkets make a claim to be first tier. So, do not expect perks like disinfected cart wipes or immaculate floors, hence, you are lucky to find a cart that can roll and not rock. One thing I can say is that the Cuban bread at $1.25, is one of the best around in terms of price...
Read moreWalked in, and was approached rudely by an employee saying masks were now MANDATORY after my cart was already full of groceries. Anyone who's done some basic research already knows that only FDA APPROVED N95 RESPIRATOR MASKS offer real protection, so it is ridiculous that Presidente Supermarket would enforce cheap cloth masks. Anyhow, I was not allowed to complete my checkout, so I left and took my business elsewhere.
Note to the business: My family and I will NEVER do business with this you again. This is not communist China, and it is reported that just about every elderly and immune-compromised citizen is now vaccinated.
It is your right to decide your policies, but do so knowing that you're setting a condition on your customers to shop at your store, and you will lose business in the long run. As they say, you lose 20 customers for single customer you lose. I will ensure that everyone I know is aware of my...
