Mary's Mountain Cookies — Local services in Granby

We stumbled upon this place walking through Granby and I am glad we did!

I am always wary of coming into bakeries like this, having two kids and a husband who must eat gluten-free, because there usually isn't an option for them. However, Mary's Mountain Cookies not only has a gluten-free "option", they have giant gluten-free cookies with texture and flavor (and price) to rival the gluten-full cookies! All five of us left excited by our choices, and we thoroughly enjoyed eating them over the rest of the day! Generously sized cookies that are very good. The variety is really good, and every cookie that we got was exactly that (really good.) They claim that they sell day-old cookies at a discount, but I don't understand how that could ever happen (day-old cookies here would be a crime.) Went back a second day and got more cookies. They also have some interesting bottled sodas if you're a connoisseur of fine sodas. Wishing that they opened earlier so that we could get cookies before we leave, because if we buy them the night before there won't be any left in...

I forgot to take pictures in the bakery. The display is full of lovely, tasty cookies. And the store has other treats like small batch marshmallows and other treats. We got a 'whoopi pie' or 'frosting sandwich cookie' and three other delicious cookies.
