My family and I had stopped in at Texas roadhouse and it was just a complete mess. We were there for about five minutes before we decided we didn’t want to spend over $100 for poor service and poor food. We were driving around hungry and discouraged before my husband suggested outback steakhouse, I must say that the reviews were a bit discouraging, especially for the prices, but we thought we’d give it a shot when we were arrived we were greeted and we were treated as if we were celebrities. I am an in interracial relationship and so service and respect means a lot to us , the host, the bartender, the security, the waitress, the cooks, literally all worked together our waitress was Riley, and she was wonderful observant. She paid attention to detail, and she knew how to carry a conversation between myself and my husband, without neither one of us feeling like something sketchy was going on , I definitely see why they hired her. There was some kitchen staff that assisted Riley with our food and they were pleasant as well. I even observed the way staff talks to each other and they talk to each other with such great respect the bartender made me the best Long Island iced tea I can honestly say I have ever had , and he was a very polite gentleman . We are definitely saying goodbye to Texas roadhouse and we are bringing our service to outback steakhouse. I cannot believe how exquisite my filet mignon was along with a full slab of real ribs! FULL! Not some little tiny rack like an actual rack of ribs people! The price match the service and the atmosphere and the food. I don’t see why people would rate this restaurant as low as they have rated it but from my experience from being all around from the East Coast to the Midwest to the western slope to the south, I’m gonna tell you right now this was by far the best restaurant I have ever gone too! No one rushed us. Everything was in order I mean honestly, this is a five...
Read moreWe spent $152, without tip & out of 5 of us, 4 were unhappy with our meals. We ordered the 9oz with ribs, the 5 oz with shrimp, the chicken tenders and two burgers. The burgers are extremely greasy, like they were dipped in a fry pit & left there. Made my youngest son sick to his stomach. He couldn't even finish half. The shrimp was rubbery like it was cooked in a microwave. The flavor was off. Had a horrible taste. The steaks, both of them, were cooked incorrectly. Mine I asked for medium came back closer to well done, not even Close to medium. The other Raw, actually Cold in the middle!! The steaks did not have grill marks, juices, or any sear marks on them. It was strange how they had no indication that they had been grilled, but more like again, like the shrimp, heated in a microwave. ZERO FLAVOR. I mean we put so much salt on them & still there just wasn't enough salt to make them taste good at all. Like it was a fake meat biproduct. These steaks were dreadful. The ribs were freezer section, tv dinner value at best & half the rib was all fat. Man do I wish we were secret shoppers. This place is Awful! I just don't like to ruin a nice meal with complaints to the staff because really they won't do anything, but I Will make sure to let everyone know on review, social media & word of mouth, they just are not the steakhouse they used to be. They need a new cook or need new product, but I've had steaks a Thousand times better at Texas Roadhouse & for a lot less cost. Completely ruined our lunch. We can not say anything bad about the waitress, but the amount of disappointed faces with the food was so...
Read moreEnded up spending 2 hours here on our last visit. Our appetizer came out fast but was poorly prepared. After that spent 25+ minutes waiting for salads that had obviously been ready for some time, the croutons were soggy from sitting in the dressing and the lettuce was warm and soft from being near the heat lamp. After that we spent 30+ minutes waiting for our food. Both my wife's plate and mine arrived only warm to touch and both were overcooked to what we had ordered, my wife's rare was medium rare and my medium rare was medium well. I sent my steak back, it took 15 minutes to get my replacement, but when it came out it was the poorest cut looking of a wrong steak, so the manager took it back with her and spent another 10 minutes waiting for the 3rd replacement, which was finally right. To top it off, during the entire visit our server placed dirty dishes behind my wife's head 5 times on the wall behind our booth, typically leaving them there for 10-20 minutes at a time. At the end of our visit we were given the full $75 bill and no offer for compensation for the plethora of mistakes. When pointed out to our waiter that I had watched 2 sets of people seated, eat, and leave at a table across from us, all he could say was "sorry". On the way out I attempted to speak with the manager, but she was too involved in looking at the seating chart to engage me in a conversation about our visit, so I decided that I had spent enough time here. The last 2 visits here have been similar, will be a long time before we return to this location to give them...
