Had lunch here today ( Saturday) with our 2 daughters and 7 yr old grand daughter. Very busy. Servers were all rushing around and stressed. It was an anxious feeling dining room. Wait time to be seated, order and for food to come was significantly longer than usual. Waiter was very rushed and impatient with us. Our waiter (Camilo C) was refilling a glass at our table from a plastic cup he had on his tray with 4 or 5 other Full glasses of various beverages. He lost balance of tray in his other hand and the tray tipped, spilling ALL the drinks on our granddaughter. She got all that sticky lemonade, soda and ice water literally poured over her head! A glass rolled off the tray, nearly hitting her face and then all the ice and the glasses went on the floor. My granddaughter was soaked in freezing beverages. Half of her hair was wet and she had lemonade in her ear!! The waiter said he "was sorry", grabbed glasses and left to get someone to help clean. Other diners helped us by handing us their spare napkins and comforted our shocked....and cold... granddaughter. Another waiter came and swept up the piles of ice. Except for what was under our chairs and feet!. The manager never talked to us or apologized. No one on the staff cleaned our table, my grand daughter's chair or anything swept up the ice and scurried away! My shoe and sock was also soaked as I was sitting across from her. Our table was wet and sticky and gross for the rest of our meal. WE mopped up as best we could. The waiter came back and said sorry to again and offered to "comp the kid meal".Unreal. He never came back to refill any of our drinks or check on us except at the very end to bring boxes . He then said we could (all 5 of us) pick one free dessert to share. When trying to pay, we had an issue with using the pay machine on our table. We waited a while to try to find our waiter then my daughter finally got up to ask him when she saw him across the room. He helped her figure it out and then told her, "That dessert comes out of MY paycheck!" This was so inappropriate and just rude. We left to go do our shopping with our shoes all wet and sticky, my poor granddaughter's clothes wet and half of her head/hair all crusty and wet. Our food was not hot when it FINALLY came out. Our waiter did not bring it and stayed away the entire meal! The kicker was watching a manager ( as WE we're still trying to clean ourselves and our table!!) talking with the patrons at other tables around us, apologizing for "slow service" and even comping some of THEIR meals!! Just a horrible way to be treated. This pricey meal was supposed to be a treat for our family, instead we left feeling very let down and disrespected!! We have dined at OG MANY times over the years and always had wonderful food and service. This was truly...
Read moreChecked in online said wait was 15-20 minutes after 30 minutes, was walking in the door when I got the text our table was ready, proceeded to host stand and she said stand over there we will call your name, 20 minutes passed, and nothing so we went to to check on it and they didn’t have a table for us, and acted like we didn’t join the online waitlist and tried to put us back on the waitlist. I showed her our table should be ready, so they said give us a few minutes and they finally sat us after we waited about an hour since joining the waitlist list, we get to our table, she took our drink order and appetizer, she came back with our drinks after about 15 minutes and took our food order that was when we had to ask for breadsticks, because we hadn’t gotten any yet, our soup and salad came still no breadsticks. We finally got breadsticks, then we waited another 15 minutes for our appetizer (dipping sauce for breadsticks) that comes out and since she only brought us three breadsticks originally and we had to wait so long for our dip we asked for more breadsticks. A couple minutes later a different server came and brought out entrees I asked him for breadsticks since we still hadn’t gotten them yet, and he brought them very quickly, the server was never seen again, tried to flag her down for a refill that was ignored, she never brought the breadsticks we asked for, never came to check on us, never got a refill. We had to go to the front and ask them for a to go box, and we waited for a while, and while we were packing up our food she came and asked if we wanted a refill. Not happy with the service at all. The seafood Alfredo was very bland the scallops had no color on them and the Alfredo sauce didn’t have any flavor, the ziti we ordered had hardly any sauce, we had to ask for more because it was so dry, that took almost 10 minutes to get that. Couldn’t find our server, a manager, nothing. Very...
Read moreWe were very disappointed in our Olive Garden experience. We went here to celebrate the 100th birthday of a family member. After the hostess sat all of us, it was quite some time until the waiter came to the table. Once he did come, we let him know we had an extra special birthday that we were celebrating and he seemed less than impressed. We eventually put in our orders and then waited and waited and waited for food to arrive. We watched other tables get seated, order, receive food, eat, pay, and leave in the time that we were waiting for food to arrive. The only time the waiter came back to the table was to tell us that food was almost ready but then it still didn’t come for another 25 minutes. In total, we waited about 45 minutes from ordering to receiving food. When the waiter did arrive with food, he seemed incredibly rushed and annoyed with us. He plopped food down on the table and promptly left. We didn’t see the waiter again and he never came back to the table. After another 45 minutes, we were wanting to pay but we still hadn’t seen our waiter. We eventually asked a different server that was walking by if our waiter’s shift was over and he had left. They said he was still working and would let him know we were ready to pay. Our server came over and we asked for to go boxes and the check. We asked if Olive Garden did anything special for birthdays, especially a 100th birthday. While we were dining, we had heard other servers singing Happy Birthday to a few other tables. Our server had no interest in singing Happy Birthday; he did offer a free dessert which was nice. Overall it was just a really poor experience with our server. He clearly did not care about his job or the customers he was serving. Also disappointing, our server didn’t give us any Andes Mints. It’s not a complete Olive Garden experience...
