Found a newer model Stairmaster in Glenwood Springs yesterday so knew I wanted to sell my existing one to make room. Called and spoke to these people and gave them exact model number and description of a Stairmaster 4000PT we now wanted to sell. Made it clear to him that I didnât want to go to trouble of bringing it to their store unless they would be interested in buying it. Itâs large, heavy , and a pain to transport . On phone for 15 min with him while he checked with someone else at store and looked it up online. Told me to bring it over. We did so today. Woman walks to car, barely looks at it and said ânot interested â..said she was the owner (even worse IMO that she would be âokâ with me lugging that over for no reason)..then gave me a whoops apology and then finally has the nerve to want my tennis racquets âwe do buy those â đ My one star review is based on the actual owner of this place instead of even offering me âsomething â for a health club/commercial quality piece of equipment (Iâm a Personal Trainer and know this model wellâŚone of stairmasters most famous and durable pieces ever and routinely sells for in excess of $200) instead wasted my time and effort based on 15 minutes of detailed vetting by me with these people to even bring it over. To even offer me $20-$60 and zero chance they donât make a good profit on it (functionally perfect) wasnât doable for her. She chose to let a dissatisfied customer walk. Itâs arrogance reeking at its finest and I would never recommend anyone here nor will I ever set foot. Response to owner: appreciate you taking the time to respond .
I came in today around 7:00 PM. I ran in just to grab some turf shoes for my game. The lady and a young man weâre both working, and while I was looking for the right size shoe the lady was helping someone and her young child. This customer was ripping her a new one, mad because the bat she recommended didnât work out. While overhearing this whole conversation the associate recommended this bat based on the kids age and what level she was in for softball. Been a competitive/college softball player, been playing for 20 years, I happen to look over at the original that she recommended. The associate recommended the perfect bat for this little girl, it is exactly what she wouldâve needed. No I didnât say anything, which I wish I wouldâve being someone who has worked in retail also for many years. But the associate handled the situation very well. The lady should not have been treating her the way she was, but props to the associate for staying strong and helping the lady make her exchange. Definitely the kind of associate any employer would be...
Read moreI purchased a mouthguard here just two days ago for my son who is starting his football league this fall and I'm sure as most parents know when purchasing all of the necessary equipment for our children to play, the expenses can add up quickly real fast which is why I was a little upset when the mouthguard I purchased ended up being faulty. I followed the instructions to a T yet ended up with an unusable item. For reference, this wasn't my first time molding a mouthguard. When I called the store to ask for a replacement, not a refund, I was told I was stuck with what I got. I'm sure the store could've parted with the replacement cost, which was a few dollars to a growing business but an added expense to a mother. Pretty...
