The atmosphere was cute and vibrant. We were immediately seated upon arrival and was able to order drinks (beer) that came to us pretty fast along with chips and salsa. The salsa was warm and fishy, as if it had been cross contaminated with a utensil, pot, or dish that was used to handle seafood. Also, personally, I do not like warm salsa. After waiting a total of 20 minutes to place our order because the server needed to sweep floors, amongst other things before checking on our table (there were only 3 other tables), I ordered a seafood boil consisting of 1 pound of crab legs, 1 piece of corn, 1/2 lb of sausage, and 3 potatoes, along with an extra piece of corn in Cajun seasoning. My spouse ordered red snapper with broccoli and sweet potato fries. The Cajun seasoning was so THICK and PASTY on my vegetables and sausage it was not edible at all. Typically when I order or even prepare a pound of snow crab legs, there are at least 2 full clusters. I received a very small full cluster and the second cluster did not even have a claw attached. My spouse’s red snapper actually came out as a grilled fillet resembling rockfish. Neither him nor I have ever had red snapper prepared in that manner, with that type of taste or texture. His broccoli also had a seafood aroma and taste to it just like the salsa. Unfortunately, because of the poor service and sketchy food, we will not be back. It was more of a waste of time than money. I wish I would have taken pictures but I was so distraught and distracted by the food and...
Read moreThe place was clean. Pretty empty when we got there we live close by and don’t notice many vehicles at the location ever with it being a new seafood place but decided to give it a try and I was very disappointed. The fountain drinks (2) both tasted off. Not pleasant or tasty we ordered a Dr Pepper and Fanta . Tried the food and was really dissatisfied I ordered a $50 seafood boil bag and the shrimp was wayyyy over cooked and couldn’t even peel and the crab legs meat was shrunken to tiny pieces inside the shell…. For $50 I would have totally went to the oak Cliff location and probably been way more satisfied the food is so much better at the oak Cliff location. Server was nice. Fountain Drinks were a**. Food was of the lowest quality possible I would...
Read moreI should have known to leave when I smelled the Fabuloso cleaner burning my nose hairs off.
PROS: The servers were attentive. The decor was cute Music was banging
CONS: It's the food I had issue with. Ordered shrimp, scallops and clams with an unsweetened tea. All the seafood was overcooked. There were no clams in their shell and the scallops were bay scallops. The seasoning was salty but bland. The tea tasted like it was steeped in a dirty gym sock. The butter they gave tasted like popcorn butter and granulated garlic not real garlic was used.
I had high hopes of finding a neighborhood gem but...
